We did this trip on March 1, 2018. I lived in Panama for 3.5 years in the late 1970s and had very fond memories of visits to Anton valley. Getting out to Anton valley gets you away from the city and helps to give you a better sense of countryside, which you cannot really appreciate in Panama City. The stop at the Zoo gives you a chance to see the famous golden frogs although be forewarned that the sorts of animal habitat facilities you are accustomed to seeing in American zoos are not going to be found in this small and not very modern zoo. The hike to the water fall was very nice. The famous market was a bit disappointing in comparison to my memory as it isn't any bigger then it used to be and has less distinctive things to buy than it did when I lived in Panama. Now it has quite a bit of the typical tourist trinkets you can get anywhere in Panama, although there are some nice things. Back in the late 1970s, I think the market was only once a week and seemed like more of a big deal. I do not know if they still have a bigger weekly market. If so, it would be helpful to plan around that if feasible. The stop at the thermal springs was probably not worth it as the springs are not particularly nice. The final stop was at Santa Clara beach which was nice finish to the tour. It isn't a real long stop at the beach we had a quick lunch and then about an hour for the beach so this is not a beach trip per se. We didn't really expect it to be based on the description of the tour. Our guide was very friendly and helpful. He actually took a slightly different route back to our hotel so I could see a few places from my childhood in Panama. That was very appreciated. On balance, a nice tour that I would suggest other visitors consider taking. My main suggestion to the company would be dropping the thermal springs and substituting it with something else perhaps the butterfly facility that we did not visit on our tour or allocating more time at the beach.
