What You Can Expect

City Sightseeing Panama City Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

See the sights of Panama City by hop-on hop-off bus

From the skyscrapers of Panama City to the impressive Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal, you’re introduced to the most famous attractions of the capital city on this City Sightseeing hop-on hop-off tour. Your sightseeing tour begins at the Multicentro, but you can board the open-top double-decker bus at any of the 6 stops along the Canal Route — using your 24-, 48- or 72-hour pass. (See the Itinerary below for a complete list.)

Listen to interesting recorded commentary on the historical background of each sight; you’ll learn how the 50-mile-long (80-km) Panama Canal, first opened in 1914, transports ships from sea level to 85 feet (26 meters) via a series of gravity-powered locks. You can disembark at any stop to explore Panama City at your own pace.

Admire the unique architecture of the Revolution Tower; explore a replica Panama village at Mi Pueblito; discover Panama's immense biodiversity at the Biomuseo; sit in the green oasis of Parque Urraca against a backdrop of skyscrapers; and more. (Entrance fees not included.)

At the modern Multicentro, you’ll find plenty of local shops, restaurants and cafés where you can try authentic Panamanian dishes (own expense). To explore even more shops and restaurants, stop at Isla Flamingo.

Perfect way to get acquainted with a large, vibrant city with great sites, i.e Panama Canal, and Old Town, and Amador Causeway.

Easiest way to get around Panama City, the Panama Canal, and Casco Antiqua, plus some other sites. You don't have to pay a cab driver or worry about parking if you rented a car especially in Casco Antiqua!. And flexible -- I spent two hours in Casco Antiqua and skipped a shopping trip. A fun trip with fun people and they even pick you up and deliver you back to your hotel!

Had an 8 hour lay over and this was perfect. Only went to the Canal and old town. Bus was on time and it was very easy.

Great way to see the city! We took the first bus on a Sunday and our pass didn't expire until the next day at 4pm, and we purchased the 24 hour pass.

Took you everywhere. Most of the buses were in great shape...only one had almost no audios working. Definitely a great way to explore the city.
