A wonderful day. The moderator spoke fluent Spanish and English and was VERY knowledgeable. If you're in Panama it would be a shame not to go through the canal lock system. This tour goes through 2 locks and returns you to the point of departure by bus... approx 6 hrs. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

A really fun and enjoyable tour it is really interesting to be on the canal itself rather than just visit the Miraflores locks although I would do that too for a different perspective. You get breakfast and lunch included along with soft drinks - the food is just ok and there is no option for non-meat eaters at lunch you can have as many soft drinks as you like.

The guide picked us up promptly at our hotel. The tour in a very clean van with the guide, three couples and one single was educational and enjoying. The walk around Old Panama City was educational and enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable. The only thing I would change was the restaurant chosen for our lunch. It was not great from either its location or the quality of the food. Still I would highly recommend it.

Canal passage is a really excited experience. Advice: return bus to Marina should have additional stop at downtown, as many people do not need go back to the starting point.
