I highly recommend this tour.

A perfect way to learn about Panama and visit many different districts in the city.

And a visit to the canal is a must.

The tour was a great way to see most of the city and learn some of the history. Ross from Barefoot Panama was amazing. He shared a ton of info with us and was quite funny. He also helped guide us to great restaurants and bars for the rest of the trip.

The tour was a blast. We first got a historical review of the city of Casco Viejo, then went traveling to the Panama Canal Miraflores Locks and ended the tour at a rainforest on a man made island outside of the downtown area. I highly recommend this tour!

Kevin was a fantastic guide. We only had one day to see Panama City, and this was the perfect tour to see some wonderful highlights of the city. We never felt rushed. It was a great day.

The best way to start your vacay by learning and viewing the city. Our tour guide Ross was amazing, and provided the details and history of Panama. Group size was 5. Consider the weather and wear comfortable shoes. The Panama canal view is breathtaking, we saw a ship passing thru the miraflores lock.

Great tour of some sites you should see while in Panama City. Gonzo was our guide and his knowledge is very extensive and eye-opening. I learned a lot that I did not know about the history of Panama, the Canal, the US I'm American presence and influence in Panama. There is so much to see and do in Panama. This is one tour that shows you some must-see sites and Parts of Panama City.

Our tour of the city and the canal lock with Gonzo was EXCEPTIONAL. He is an outstanding tour guide. Not just thoroughly knowledgeable and informed concerning the sites visited on the tour, he has a firm grasp of the history and culture of Panama and Panama city. He thoroughly, concisely and understandably answered all queries. His grasp of the English language is flawless. In our estimation he is unexcelled as a guide.

This tour is a great way to see and learn about Panama City and the Panama Canal on a wonderful narrated tour. We began with a walking tour of Casco Viejo, which was fascinating. We then went to the Canal and got in immediately because we were with a tour group. We saw a great introductory film, and there's an interesting museum. The MIraflores Locks at the canal are amazing. We were able to watch ships entering and hear about the process. What a great way to learn about a place we've only heard about our entire lives. After the Canal, we toured the city and went to the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, which is an outdoor facility, crossed the Amador Causeway, stopped at the Biomuseo, and had wonderful narration the entire time.

The tour was excellent, buy mainly due to the knowledge and friendliness of our tour guide Ross of Barefoot Panama. Ross was just terrific and he provided us with a fairly comprehensive introduction to the interesting sights and lore of Panama City and the Miraflores Locks. The Miraflores locks are a must see, along with the 4 level museum access which is included in the tour.

Best Tour! Ross, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. He gave us a lot of information. He also knew how to get us to the Panama Canal early, which was important for better viewing of the Canal. Yes, we dealt with people but actually got to see two large boats and a small boat go through the Canal. He also took us to an excellent place for lunch. Bravo!

Our guide was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. Gave us a great tour of the old town, and Miraflores Lock center. I could have lived without the Smithsonian Nature Center, but I am not much of a naturalist and it was just kind of hot by then. Recommend this tour very much.

We had a great time. Our guide, Gonzo, was a terrific host. We were picked up on time, got excellent information about the Old City of Panama and got some real insight on the origen of the Canal and its current operations.

Go to Panama. It is an amazing country.

A full day giving us an excellent sense of Panama City. We learned about both history and a sense of the current development. Early start was a great idea to beat heat and traffic. Our guide, Ross, was both personable and knowledgeable.

Kevin with Barefoot Panama did an excellent job of showing us the sights of Panama City! It was an great way to learn about the history of Panama. Kevin was very animated and energetic which made the tour lots of fun! He also gave us local knowledge about places to eat, things to see, and the bst way to arrange transportaion during our stay. Our tour started at 8:00 with the walking tour of Casco Viejo. I would suggest bringing water along with you because it can get quite warm out in the sun. Kevin would stop and talk along the way and would try to find shady spots for us to stand in. At Miraflores Locks we were able to view a ship leaving the locks amd entering the locks. One of the highlights of the tour was the Smithsonian Research Center where we were able to look for sloths in the trees. Kevin had said he hoped to see 5 and we actually were able to see 6! Very entertaining and informative day. We liked the tour, Kevin and Barefoot Panama so much that we booked for another tour with them for the next day to Monky Island and the Indian Village. Would highly recommend that tour as well!! You won't go wrong using Barefoot Panama for your excursions in Panama.

I really enjoyed this tour! I appreciated the fact that the group was small 4 people, including me and that our guide was very accommodating and knowledgable. We didn't feel rushed at any point during the tour and he was even kind enough to drop me off at my hotel at the end of the day. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Panama City!!!

Helpful adjustment to the standard sequence of the tour to make the most of the weather, avoiding walking when it was raining. And the guide offered that at the end of the tour, he'd take those of us who wanted to walk to the top of a hill which was closed to traffic, Which we would otherwise have driven to.
