Begin your day of whale watching with pickup at your Panama City hotel, then transfer to the marina to board a fast, open-air boat with your private party. Head for the Pearl Islands (about 35 miles/56 km), accompanied by a naturalist guide who will teach you about the local marine life.
Search for whales and dolphins as you travel; you can also use the provided hydrophone to hear them communicating them under water. Stop for optional snorkeling at a pristine coral reef near an uninhabited island.
Around midday, go ashore on Contadora Island to have lunch at one of the local restaurants (own expense). Relax and swim at the island's beach before the return trip to Panama City, arriving at your hotel in the early evening.
