We took this trip during the first few hours after arriving in Paris and it set the tone for our entire experience. We went on the 9:30 pm tour in May. It was still light then as the sunset and the lights came on it was magical. The meal was very good, the wait staff attentive and engaging; the entertainment enjoyable. Would do it again.

The staff was extremely rude and very unwelcoming. Once the dishes were served, not onetime did anyone come back to our table to ask if we wanted to order additional drinks or have coffee with our thirdcouse. It was all very rushed. The food was mediocre In my option, its not worth the €100+ and would ask for a refund if I could.

Very efficient service. Loved the atmosphere ,loved the singing ,loved the sights and very clean. However, it was a surprise when we had to pay extra for any type of drink, including water, and if we wanted to upgrade the two dinner options to steak after already paying the price we paid.

Did not make the trip due to our plane being delayed. Called in enough time to cancel and explained our dilemma. Management had no compassion. They had enough time to sale those tickets.

The river cruise was very crowded. My husband and I were sat in a small table that was squeezed in. We had to pay extra upon arrival to sit by the window. There was no English narrative. It was like a crowded restaurant on a river boat. The views were the best part. You get to see many sites along the river. My husband could not eat the fish served he said it was not fresh. I thought it was okay nothing fantastic. The dessert was delicious as most pastries in France are. Overall I was disappointed not as nice as I was expecting

We were shocked to be charged $15/person to sit at a window table, when I booked I had specifically asked and it was confirmed on the phone, but when we arrived they put us in a center table. The cruise was only 3/4 full with several empty window seats

Eiffel Tower was beautiful. However, in order to get a table by the window we had to pay each an extra 15 euros and water cost an extra 10 euros. The entire cost of the experience with these unexpected add ons was not worth the price .

Go for the cruise. Didn't like dinner. Dont do add ons. Especially pictures, they took pictures of our faces not the beutiful background. Wish they stayed 15 minutes more, at the top of the hour we could have seen Eiffel tower lighted. Please include lighted eiffel tower in your itinerary Cruise by itself it is worth it. Go for it. Thanks

When the Eiffel tower lit all up and flashed was so beautiful going by on the river. The meal was real different but we enjoyed it very much. At night having dinner on the river was just spectacular. Only problem was our waiter was very rude.

Was a Lovely evening seeing Paris at night form the river was lovely. Food was good but the steak wasn’t as good as I was hoping. Felt a little rushed at the end to leave and didn’t get to enjoy the last of our Champagne. Also the extra charge for a window seat felt a little harsh although I was happy as it seemed like the only table left for us anyway. Must say the stater was very good though.

It was extremely hot and steamy inside, windows all fogged up and could barely see outside (others sitting by the windows had to constantly wipe the windows to see), food was disappointing (I had the steak and mom had the fish). I wouldn’t recommend it. Very disappointed by the experience, especially for the money.
Romantic river dinner boat cruise eight year anniversary

Well we arrived at the front of the boat few minutes before it was ready to department which was at 21:15. We was greeted by a nice lady who checked our reservation and told us to go downstairs. We was greeted by a lovely friendly lady and taken to our table. We was a little disappointed at where we was sitting which was in the middle and we was thinking we would be at the window. We asked if we could be moved but we was told if we wanted to sit near the window then we had to pay extra for both of us but it didn’t state that on the booking when we booked so there was a total misunderstanding. As it was our eight year anniversary and we had travelled to Paris just for that experience of having dinner on the boat it was very upsetting for us and we had felt disappointed. My husband had complained and spoken to the lady and this lady saved our night as she gave us a seat next to the window. This made our night so enjoyable and we was so grateful for this lady for moving us to a table at the window. The waiter we had was very friendly and they had sprinkled rose pedals on our table which was very nice for us. We chose our whine which we paid for later as it wasn’t included in the voucher which was fine as we had decided to go for the bottle rather than having just the two glasses of white whine. The waiter poured it and we was able to choose our starter, main course and the desert. The desert they told us would be a very special one from them. All three courses was amazing you could not fault the food at all. The presentation was amazing the food was cooked and hot when it arrived on our table. The desert was a chocolate heart which was very nice. We was then able to go out onto the boat and view the main attractions of Paris in the night time. The views was breathtaking and it was so romantic. It was well worth us going on the river cruise dinner boat. Despite the problem we had with the seating arrangement once it got sorted it didn’t stop us from enjoying our night and celebrating our eight year anniversary.

When we arrived, the boat was not like the images online. The menu was not any of the examples displayed as part of the booking process - the menu is a set menu and the steak came with an additional cost, which meant we only ate the main out of a three course meal and paid extra. The menu is set so you can’t choose the starter or desert. The only starter was fish and neither of us eat fish. I asked the lady if we could move to a nicer table on the edge of the boat as I could tell from the menu we were not going to eat and despite there being empty seats we were not allowed to move as we had not paid a premium - although online there is not an option to book a premium seat on the boat by the window. Disappointing experience.
Definitely Not a Gourmet Experience

This was a terrible experience because when we arrived for our tour, we were told that the boat engine was broken and there would be no tour. It would have been appreciated if Viator had let us know in advance (the crew obviously had known for a while we would not be sailing) because getting to the boat was a trip in itself. We decided to eat on the boat anyway, since by now it was very late (10 pm), our children were hungry, and we were there. We were offered nothing in the way of compensation, although eventually, at the end of the meal, they gave the adults a glass of champagne. I do think we are owed some compensation because this was a huge disappointment and definitely not what we paid for.

The food was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. The boat was clean and the Cabaret singer was excellent. The views of the attractions were good. The evening was spolt as we felt rushed into finishing our drinks as it was obvious that they wanted to get the boat ready for the next trip. We were not offered the Tea or Coffee

The boat was broken and didn’t sail and it took 3 phone calls and 2 emails and 2 website message to get a partial refund then finally the full refund.

The whole experience was a major letdown. When we arrived at the boat we had to wait to be seated. The people on boat seemed very confused. We sat very very close to others and didn’t get to relax our move once we sat down. Our food was rushed and the boat was like a sauna. Our waiter was rude. The scenery was nice.

Great views terrible food

The food was horrible. The chicken was hard/chewy and the veggies were over cooked, the creme brûlée was lumpy. The waiter was rude and threw our food on the table. Very expensive beverages. The good part was watching the Eiffel Tower lit up at 11 pm . The ship was in the perfect position to see it.

It is a nice cruise and we saw all the main sites. The length of time was perfect. Plenty of time without being too long. In the summer it was very hot inside. There are not any open windows.
Make sure you do one late enough so it’s dark by the time you get to the Eiffel Tower - the lights were fabulous!

First time for us on a Seine river cruise and it didn’t disappoint. Food was lovely and we enjoyed watching Paris float by. The whole thing built into a fantastic crescendo as the Eiffel Tower light show started - seemed like everyone on the boat went crazy at that point and we had a 10 minute party - fantastic experience!

One star is one too many.

This tour was horrible. The food was inedible. The steak was raw and had to be cut with a hacksaw the fish tasted like mud and the risotto was congealed and in the shape of the container they pried it out of. The tour is a misnomer they say it is a gourmet cruise but the food is not fit for human consumption and when you complain they don’t care they already have your money. As for the cruise portion , there is no guide or information on what you’re passing what you were saying. It is sad that a company can give so little for so much and stay in business. Don’t make the mistake of giving them your business.
