Day 1: Paris – Normandy Beaches – St Marie du Mont (D)
Meet your expert driver-guide at the prearranged location in central Paris. Then, hop inside a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and set off to begin your 4-day tour of the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites in Normandy.

Make your first stop at the Merville Battery, which overlooks Sword Beach and the military cemetery, where British and Canadian regiments suffered great losses. Then, visit Ranville, the first village to be liberated after the Allied offensive. Explore Ranville War Cemetery, the resting place of many of the British soldiers killed during the early stages of the Battle of Normandy, as well as Pegasus Bridge, which was captured intact in less than ten minutes on 6 June 1944.

Later in the day, arrive at your hotel in Bricquebec. After checking in, savor an included dinner at the hotel’s restaurant before spending the evening at your leisure.

Overnight: L'Hostellerie du Chateau in Bricquebec, Normandy or similar

Day 2: Normandy Beaches (B, D)
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and then join up with your guide and small group. Climb inside your comfortable minivan and listen to your driver-guide talk about the day’s itinerary as you travel toward the British and Canadian landing and dropping zones.

Visit the Gold and Juno Beaches, each with their own reminders of the epic events of 1944. See the Mulberry Harbour in Arromanches, Café Gondrée — the first house to be liberated — and many other places of historical significance such as Bény-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery and Longues-sur-Mer Battery.
