My friend and I took the day trip to Reims and Epernay. It was wonderful!
We left Paris City Vision at 8:00 a.m. sharp and the day was perfect until we arrived back in Paris at 6:00 p.m.
Roberto, our guide was good, and kept the tour moving on time. He spoke in English and Portugese!
The tours at Mumms and Mercier were outstanding. I preferred the Mumms tour. And the drive through wine country from Reims to Epernay was beautiful...it was harvest time, and we could see the people working in the vineyards.
All in all - magical! Worth every penny!
This was a wonderful day. We visited 2 different Champagne caves and were given a glass of champagne after each tour. I highly recommend this tour. Its an all day tour, but so worth it.

Mumm and Mercier were great cellars to visit and it was interesting to learn about the making of Champagne. It was also nice to spend some time in the village and enjoy lunch at an outdoor cafe. I wish some time would have been allocated to walk along the streets of Avenue de Champagne since so many of the offices are located there and it would have been interesting to walk along the road vs. just drive through quickly.
after touring paris for 4 days, a nice day trip out of the city is perfect. ride on a bus, sleep-in some more, point us where we need to go, give us a history of champagne, make it fun, give us some champagne, eat a nice lunch in reims, tour the cathedral: back in paris in time for dinner. do this!
It was a beautiful day and great trip out into the countryside. We enjoyed the champagne cellers and the Cathedral at Reims. If you'Re looking for a day away from Paris, this is a wonderful trip.
This tour was amazing! It was well organized. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgable. The waking tour through Siena was great with perfect amount of free time.
We really enjoyed the wine tasting and San Gimignano. Climbing the leaning tower of Pisa was the highlight of our visit to Pisa!
This tour more than met our expectations. The guides were very knowledgeable and the wineries were incredible
Very enjoyable experience with knowledgeable guides. Was delighted in the choice of Champagne Houses, Mercier and Mumm.

We started the trip with a visit to G.H. Mumm cellars. Learned how this renowned winemaking house has been producing Champagne using traditional methods for almost 200 years and tasted Mumms classic Cordon Rouge. Interesting tour a very enjoyable experience. Then we traveled to Reims to see the famous Notre Dame cathedral and have a delicious lunch at an outdoor cafe. We continued on to the picturesque town of Epernay, visited the historic cellars of Mercier, which has been producing Champagne since 1858, which once again had a very rich history in champagne production and history. Toured the extensive, atmospheric caves and enjoy another tasting above ground. This is a must do if you are visiting Paris, just an absolutely incredible day from start to finish.
This tour was great. I enjoyed the Cave tours and the information alone the trip was great. If you like Chanpagne and you have the time this is a must do.
The 2 wineries were great visits. Appreciated the opportunity to visit the cathedral in Reims with time for shopping and eating.
We left on time in a clean and comfortable coach. Our tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable. The scenery on the way to the Champagne Region was breath taking. I really enjoyed the tour of the two Champagne makers and we had plenty of time to tour around Reims and have lunch. I highly recommend this tour.
This was a very easy day trip, leaving from the very heart of Paris. The two Champagne houses Mumm and Mercier have great tours for the group. Mumm takes you through the process and history of Champagne, and Mercier has an entertaining tram ride through their actual cellars. Plus, you get free Champagne at both places! Lunch is on your own in Reims, which gives yo a chance to visit the big cathedral.
We had a great time on this tour despite the rainy cold weather most of the day. The visits to the cellars were educational and fun. It was really nice to learn about the region and taste the different champagnes. The history of the notre dame de Riems was really interesting. We also loved the view of the countryside. So picturesque! Our guide was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and kept everything on track and smooth. I highly recommend this tour.
The day trip to Reims was very well organised and enjoyable. We visited two champagne houses, Mumm and Mercier and saw the famous Reims Cathedral where we also had time for a lunch. It was an easy way to visit a town outside of Paris and good value for money. I will definitely be doing more trips with Viator in the future.
Dominique was a very knowledgeable guide. It was an enjoyable day. Just amazing to think about all the champagne under ground in that region. The tour of the cathedral at Reims was inspiring. It's so hard to believe how much of that city was destroyed during WWII.

Very nice tour. The Champagne tour was very interesting and loved going down in the caves. The guides were wonderful. Would highly recommended.
Very nice tour of this beautiful region. Would like to return for a more extended visit!
The Reims Cathedral tour was fascinating, too it was so interesting to learn the history of the crowning of all French kings since Clovis.
We had a wonderful coach bus ride with great tour guides. This is a MUST see if you're in Paris!
Similar to doing winery tours, but so much more given that champagne is specific to just this region of the world and no where else!
The whole thing was terrific, fun and a great learning experience

What a wonderful tour full of interesting facts and deep down secrets of the process and history of making champagne with the added bonus of some FULL glass samples from the wineries you visit. I was lucky and got to visit my favourite champagne supplier, G.H.Mumm. Heaven. Highly recommend this tour, 11 hours is very long though. Too much time spent in the village with spare time for lunch after visiting the Reims cathedral.
