Great day out in the Champagne region. Very interesting and enjoyable tour of Moet and Chandon with tastings at the end. The church in Reims is breathtaking and even had time for a spot of shopping. Mumm was also a fascinating tour of the caves below. So many bottles and such little time!!! Our guide was great with lots of information about the areas we passed through. Recommend this tour of the region.
First, our tour guide, Jean Marc was my fave! An older man with endless knowledge in every subject of everything. I literally wanted to fold him up and put him in my pocket. Our tour was supposed to have been with two other girls that never made it, so it was just my husband and I. We had a private tour without having to pay for it! My only complaint is that for over 400 two people they should have included a premium tasting to these places. The entrance fee for each is about 24 euros pp. Do the math, the travel agency is making a killing so they can at least pay an extra few euros and make the experience much more worth while. My fave of the two was Moet. Although the champagne from Mumm for me was better. Hautvillers was very nice too. If you have the financial means to do this tour, do it. You wont regret it and in spite of my small complaint, it is still very well worth every penny.
The tour was wonderful. We enjoyed the day. This trip exceeded our expectations. Loved Moet and Chandon. The Cathedral in Reims is unbelievable the church of Kings. Great day.
Every trip to Paris should include a tour of Champagne! This one is great-small intimate groups with a guide. Jean-Marc was great and had heaps of local knowledge.
This was an amazing day. Our guide Richard was wonderful and make sure that every moment was well spent. The champagne houses were extremely informative and the guides there were very knowledgeable. Great break out in the countryside. And, of course, the champagne was delicious.
what an excellent tour. although we traveled pretty early in the morning--for vacation time--our tour guide was kind, humorous and engaging. he got to know each of us individually and seemed genuinely excited to give us context for our tour from paris to champagne and in through the passing towns. the stops at the vineyard, the church, and in Reims were delightful and broke up the monotony that can occur during a long drive. moet and chardon and the house of mumm were amazing experiences. both tours had both teachable and wow moments. tips: bring a jacket especially if it's rainy because the cellars are porous and the wine has to be kept a low temperature. overall, excellent experience. great choice.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It's a very pleasant and informative day out.
Had a wonderful day our guide was great kept us informed the lunch was very good food and the highlight was the cellar tours at the champagne houses! They just need to organize an international freight service!!
Excellent guide and a very cool tour through the champagne region. Visited Mumm's and Moet and Chandon with tastings in both places. This is a great day out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. You'll learn a lot about the champagne-making process too!
Our driver was so great, I can't say enough about him. The tours were great. Definitely worth going on.

WOW - where do we begin - our guide sorry we can't recall his name was so professional, knowledgeable, on schedule, and yes, a great driver!! We toured on July 27 and the trip was great and so was our guide. We highly recommend this tour - thanks Viator for another great adventure!!
Tour coordinator very good!
Add an extra 30 minutes on the front end of this tour to allow for late people and traffic issues!
Would do it again!
Excellent- tour guide was both well informed and personable. Great tour of the two vineyards and great stops for photos. Definitely recommend this activity.
Absolutely brilliant time. Completely worth devoting a full day to this tour. From the moment they pick you up, the various stops along the way, and up to the momement they drop you off back at your hotel, you will completely enjoy the experience and care they put into this tour. I am very picky and expect the best when I travel. I'm willing to pay for it and when I do, I demand maximum value. Who doesn't? To that end, I am very satisfied with this experience and recommend this to anyone. The views are amazing and the champagnes you taste will be stories you'll share with your friends forever. You will carry this experience with you for the rest of your life and certainly when you drink champagne. Cheers!

Due to bad weather we had significant traffic delays getting to the wineries however our guide was good humoured and knowledgeable. Once there the wineries visited were excellent with amazing cellars to explore - the Moet and Chandon visit was a standout - beautiful house and elegant tasting room !
Excellent! I was expecting 10 people on the tour but when I got to the car, there were only two others besides myself. It felt like a private tour. Our tour guide was kind, hilarious and filled with lots of information about the Champagne region, Paris, and France. They pick you up right at your hotel/apartment and drop you off too so no need to worry about public transportation. I'd recommend this tour to anyone :
The guide was very knowledgable and friendly. My friends and I had a great time.
Excellent tour!! We loved being in a smaller group just us and another couple and our tour guide was knowledgeable and very funny. We were disappointed at first that we didn't get to go to Moet and Chandon but we LOVED Mercier and their champagne. We bought a bottle to bring home. The visit to Mumm was fantastic. Seeing where Dom Perignon was buried was fascinating and we loved visiting the cathedral in Reims. We enjoyed walking around Reims and even stopped into a champagne shop and bought some Dom Perignon. I would recommend this tour and Viator. Very professional and organized and an amazing tour. Cheers!

Epernay was beautiful. This is where Dom Perigon invented champagne. Then travel thru vineyards to nearby towns to sample the good stuff. Moet and Chandon were closed for remodeling but the other winery we went to was great. You take an elevator down into the tunnels of fermenting wine. Then you board a small train and a guide gives you the history of Mercier Winery. See the super large barrel of champagne that traveled by oxen to the worlds fair.
Had a fantastic day with 2 other couples. Our guide was terrific! A must do tour...especially if you love Champagne.
Moet is closed due to renovation, only informed after booking the tour. Other than that, love the small tour group and our driver cum guide is very professional.
