Terrific. Saw the showroom of Gien patterns, heard about the manufacture of faience and how to handle it after it is painted. Very different from porcelain and pottery. Painting a small plate was the best part. I would do this as many times as I have time in Paris.

My husband and I only had two days in Paris for Valentines Day. We chose this painting class as one of our many activities. It certainly did not disappoint! Solène was wonderfully helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. We cannot recommend this highly enough not only did we get an off the beaten path experience, but two unique souvenirs and an amazing memory. Truly one of the highlights of our trip and something that we will be talking about for years.

Never has such an idea about the making of ceramic, but after attended to this workshop and review of the Gien's history, I have a better understanding of it now.

The painting part is fun and memorable, just go if you enjoy ceramic-painting.

The location is easy to find, at the centre of Paris, you might spend some time to walk around the neighbourhood.
