This tour was amazing. The restaurant was charming and excellent food. The tour guide fantastic, very knowledgeable and caring. We lost our tour guide in Versailles. We stayed in the last spot we were together and the tour guide found us.
Awesome tour! Our guide was a French history expert and kept us very well interested on everything we visited. The palace and specially the garden were just great. Governy and Monet's gardens were fantastic. It was definitely worth the money and highly recommended
Well organized, good guides, great lunch. Just the right amount of time.
Very good experience. Our driver was very knowledgeable about both locations. Lunch wa very tasty and in a rural bucolic area. Versailles is beautiful and was extremely crowded inside the palace. We went there on a Wednesday morning.
This was a very enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. It was a small group of eleven and this meant we were able to get to know the other passengers and chat as we went from place to place. Versailles was of course amazing and a memorable experience. Being in a small guide meant it was easier to stay together in the very busy rooms and we were also able to ask the guide lots of questions. We had some free time in the garden and were able to see the amazing musical fountains and appreciate the landscaping. Lunch was next. It was at a very picturesque restaurant and included authentic French food and wine. The guide gave us time to appreciate the lovely scenery before heading off to GIverny. This was an absolute highlight for me as I really appreciate Monet's pictures. The gardens were beautiful and the landscaping was amazing. We were given free time to explore the gardens and house at our own leisure and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this tour.
We were grateful Viator.com could accommodate us at very short notice for a Sunday trip to Versailles and Giverny with Paris City Vision. This is a great combination as both locations are very interesting to see in their own way and combining them makes for a great day out.
It was a small group, just six of us, and we had the luxury of being picked up at our Airbnb apartment by our host for the day, the inimitable chauffeur cum guide extraordinaire, Honoré. We left the city at 0845h and with the very light Sunday morning traffic we were walking the grounds of Versailles by 0930h.
Honoré not only entertained us with his wonderfully informative stories but paved the way with priority access to the most interesting places. Our time in the gardens was necessarily short, which suited us as we spent adequate time inside the palace and saw the main rooms.
From Versailles we drove for an hour or so into Normandy and had lunch at the picturesque Moulin de Fourges in the heart of the impressionist region. This really was an idyllic location in a tranquil setting where we got to know our fellow travellers all the better before moving on to the second part of our day.
After lunch we went to the nearby village of Giverny and spent the afternoon wondering through Monet's lily ponds, garden and house and visiting the impressionist museum.
It was a lovely day, interesting and well paced with a good group and fantastic guide seeing two different parts of France's great heritage. . Well done Viator.com and Paris City Vision.
Francis was our tour guide - and he did an excellent job conveying information to us while he was driving us - first to Versailles and then to Giverny. There were only six people in our vehicle - and everything was absolutely perfect! We got right in- to both venues. Our lunch was delicious too. I would highly recommend this experience - it was perfection - our favorite day on our twelve day adventure to Europe.
Yvonne was our tour guide. She picked us up in a van and off we went. She spoke the entire trip of the locations we visited. She knew her stuff. Versailled was nice, but not enough time to visit the gardens. We barely had 15 minutes to see the gardens, when it takes at least a five minute walk each way from the palace to get there. Back in the van for the almost hour long trip to a beautiful place for lunch. This was a quality meal, wine included, from there to Giverny to see Monet's house, gardens and water lilly pond. This was a full day tour and you are driven back to your hotel.

Fantastic day tour. Our host was fantastic and delivered a memorable experience.
The tour of Giverny and Versailles was great. I went with my daughter and two other young women. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was the perfect combination of information and letting us explore a bit on our own. Bypassing the line at Versailles was key.
Our tour guide, Walter was very polite and made us feel very welcome. His instructions were very clear on meeting points and timing. His history knowledge and languages were outstanding. We had the best day out at Versailles and Giverney and express entry was tops, no queues. We highly recommend this tour.
Excellent! Versailles was great with the extra time to be on our own in the gardens. I was with my 15 year old grandaughter and she loved it! I had never been to Giverny, !what a beautiful place! Some magic about i t! The stop for lunch very refreshing, and good food, and good company in the small tour. The guide was very good, my grandaughter was very impressed, which makes me thankful that I booked this double tour.
And outstanding and kind guide.thanks a million Flora !
Fabulous experience, with Serge sp? as a very knowledgable guide. Perfect blend of time for each location, and the drive through the countryside was a plus.
Wonderful guide. Sights are amazing....but knew that before booking! The guide was so informative and never felt rushed. Worth every penny.
Great tour, only 6 people in this tour, tour guide picked up us from 3 different hotels, in a 8 passenger comfortable van. He drove while explaining the history of each place, lunch was great, tour guide had tickets to both places purchased ahead of time, it's a 'skip the line tour'. He let us walk explore Versailles garden by ourselves, enough time to take plenty of pictures, walked inside the palace with all of us and explained the rooms, history, decoration. Monet's house and garden was beautiful, got back to Paris hotel about 5:00 pm, well planned and timed tour.
The tour was worth every penny! Joel was a great guide-very informative and patient with us. Highly recommend to anyone interested in seeing these two sites. Lunch was also great.
Joel was very clear with directions especially with meeting point/time;Joel and #39;s height helped us find him among the large cr
This tour was amazing! Versailles is a palace you would expect the sun king to live in. The gardens and grounds were beautiful. Cobblestones tricky to walk on. A nice feature was that we were picked up at our hotel and there were only 8 of us. Bathrooms at Giverny were nasty, otherwise rest good.
The best way to spend a Day in your life. Professional Tour Guide, knowledgeable and careful drivers too. Of course one must see Versailles Palace and Monet and #39;s Garden in Giverny. A must if you have limited time in Paris. Great value.
We are very glad we took this tour, our host from Viator was very knowledgeable and considerate. He made a point of returning us back to our hotel in time for us to catch our train to Amiens. Versailles was beautiful but very busy and our host navigated us through the throng very well. We had a delicious lunch of French cuisine in a beautiful little restaurant near Giverny at a location that was picturesque with a functioning water wheel. Monet's garden was beautiful and brought tears to the eyes. Our host enabled us to get the most out of this experience and we are very happy that we decided on this option, it saved all the trouble of trying to get there ourselves. Everything was taken care of. Thank you Viator, we will travel with you again if the opportunity arises.
We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We also liked the use of the headsets while touring inside Versailles as it helped to hear and stay together as a group. Lunch at the mill was wonderful and the property was beautiful. And finally, Giverny was amazing.
Great tour! Door to door, very knowledgable guide, only four of us on the tour made for a very personalized experience. The guide went over background of Versailles on the drive there so when we toured it was great to know some of the history behind it. It was very crowded but not guides fault.
Versailles was overwhelming but our guide Dario helped by explaining everything we needed to know to make our visit enjoyable. Monet and #39;s garden in Giverny was amazing. The gardens are beautiful and have been maintained just as Monet painted them. Great day out of Paris.
Eric, our guide was very good, made everyone comfortable. Lunch at Fourges was very good, nice to be somewhere in the quiet of the country. Timing for touring both Versailles and Givenchy was just right.
