It was a great trip.Very well organised.Lunch was great in a good restaurant with great location.Guide wae very cordial.
A great trip. Versailles was spectacular, made more interesting by the guide. Giverny a must for Impressionist lovers.
This is a must if you don't want to spend time and energy in the long line! We enjoyed our tour. Thank you.
Versailles is a bit overwhelming, while I liked seeing it I much preferred seeing Monet's home. The grounds of Giverny are beautiful, right out of his paintings.
The tour was lovely. Versailles was grand but very crowded. The gardens and dwelling at Versailles are enormous and opulent. After Versailles, the tour guide takes the group for lunch at a charming restaurant by a small river . The food was excellent. After lunch the tour goes to Monet's home at Giverny. This location was the complete opposite of Versailles. It is intimate and beautiful.
Great trip. A guided tour offers many benefits but the best is we skipped the long lines ar Versailles!
Fantastic. We are so happy that we did it. We loved going in a small group. The tour Guide Fred was awesome. He was very accommodative and took care of us. My Mother was in a wheelchair and still everything was done awesome. I highly recommend this .
Lovely day. Great guide. The restaurant at lunch was wonderful! Giverny the best!
This was a great tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel, had a good tour of Versailles and time to visit the gardens. The drive though the French countryside was lovely.
We got to see the little villages, stopped for lunch at a lovely restaurant. Then went on to visit Giverny and Monet house and Garden. Lovely gardens and house but very confusing to get through. The guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Then we were driven back to our hotel. The small group in the van made the trip very comfortable.
This tour was fantastic from start to finish. Our guide, Andre, was knowledgeable and charming. I love Paris but it was wonderful to get out of the city to see some of the French countryside. And I am very happy we chose to do the small group tour, it was worth the extra money.
One of the best tours we have been on. Great driver/Guide. Loved Giverny and the food that we had for lunch was delicious.
This tour was probably the highlight of our trip. Our guide Pamela was very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. There was no waiting, we just got right in. We went to Giverney in the afternoon when it was not so crowded. The gardens were just beautiful at the beginning of September. We stopped at a former mill for lunch which was a beautiful setting. Versailles was also amazing. I would love to go back just to tour the gardens and have lunch in the gardens.
This tour was amazing. It was beauty all day long. Highly recommended.
It was a perfect trip with a great tour guide! The day was well paced with Versailles in the morning and Giverny in the afternoon. My tour group was a lot of fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in these two sites. The hotel pick up was also ideal and went smoothly.
Vincent was our guide. It was amazing!!! Terrific descriptions and insights. Wonderful lunch. Perfect way to end our Paris vacation.
Our trip to Giverny was magical. We arrived early enough that it was not too crowded. Lunch at a nearby historic mill was very special. Versailles was much too crowed in late July, but I would not want to have missed it. Someday I'd like to return when it is not peak season!
What an excellent way to see both these attractions. Hotel pick up/drop off made this tour really easy especially on our hectic schedule. No waiting in queues and a knowledgable guide made for a great day! Versaille was a delight and Monet's gardens a wonderful experience. Thoroughly enjoyed driving through the stunning countryside and the food at lunch was quite outstanding. Thank ever so much for making our one day in Paris absolutely memorable!
This was a great trip - highly recommended! When you have a limited number of days to visit Paris, this trip made it possible to visit two great attractions just outside of Paris in one day. Being in a group of six people with our guide made it so easy to get between Versailles and Giverny and it also made it easier to ask questions and get a more personal tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and pleasant and it made for a great day. I was worried that it would be too much to do both in one day, but I think that it was just the right amount of time at each location. Thanks for a wonderful tour!
Fantastic tour All went well, was well organized and enjoyable. So glad this tour allowed us to miss the massive lines there! Lunch was wonderful.
What an amazing day! We are so happy we did this tour. Worth every dollar we spent and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We were picked up at our hotel and they were very punctual. 45 minute drive to Versailles. We were given 20 minutes to see the grounds before our tour time began. There was a line waiting to get in on a Tuesday morning, 9am of a few hundred people and we skipped them all! The tour was incredible. Our guide, Frank, had a microphone on and each of our small group 7 of us in total had a personal receiver and headphones. This made it very easy to hear all of the tour details and we didn't have to stand next to the guide. After the tour we were given about 30 minutes to wander then we left. About 45 minutes later we arrived at the lunch spot. This location felt like it came straight out of a screensaver photo, an incredibly adorable cottage in the French countryside and the lunch was a delicious and filling French meal. A short drive later we arrived at Giverny and saw that. It was really neat but I'm not as in to the art stuff.
Overall this was a wonderful day. The small group was fantastic as we could get to know the other guests and our guide Frank, who was wonderful.
This was a fantastic tour. All the stops were lovely. Just enough time at each location. I couldn't stop taking pictures. Lunch at Le Moulin de Fourges was divine and picturesque. My husband and I loved the entire tour.
We had a great day with Joel as our tour guide. The trip was great starting with the hotel pick-up. We started with a garden tour at Versailles on our own and then had a skip the line entrance to the Palace. Joel provided expert knowledge on the history of Versailles. The lunch was excellent with wine included. The afternoon was spent at Giverny. Another excellent experience. This was on our own so we could spend as much time as we wanted in the gardens or in the house. The small group tour made it easy to ask questions, especially the information given on the van ride. We were finally dropped at the front door of our hotel. This tour put the exclamation point on a wonderful France and Paris trip.
Wonderful trip great guide ands delicious lunch at a beautiful location !
