This tour was a great way to see Marais. The food was delicious, we saw some unique areas and had a lovely time. Our guide Achille was very nice, he had a great combination of storytelling, engagement and humor. He was very entertaining and took us to great spots.

Nick is an amazing tour guide. He is a local that was born and raised in Paris. In addition, he is a chef that has an amazing knowledge of food and wine. It added so much to the experience. The stops were local places we would not have known about or ever found.

Amazing Foodie Tour with Dorine

Dorine provided an amazing Foodie Tour through the Le Marais District, starting with a walking tour through an Open-Air Food Market and ending with stops at incredible pastry shops. In total, Dorine guided us through seven different tasting that included a wide variety of delectable foods, while concurrently providing a high-level historical perspective of the cultural significance and influence the Le Marais District has had upon Paris. While each member of the group had their own memorable moment, I personally returned to two of the locations the following day to make additional purchases.

This as a really fun event! We had a great guide! We had great food and great wine! A great way to spend an afternoon! Montmartre is a neighborhood with a great vibe!

We made 6 stops and enjoyed the food. We got to sit down at the last stop and shared a number of dishes. Total duration was 2.5 hours and was mostly filled withe our guide sharing of food insights. Would be better if we were given some time to shop at the pastries places before moving on. Don't think it is worth the money paid.

Marais Food Tour

Our guide did not show due to an accident and the guide for another group took us along with her group, making the group bigger. We did a lot of walking, which I expected, but never sat down to sample any food, every sample was eaten standing on the sidewalk. I have done food tours in many other cities with groups just as large and this was a first to never sit. Otherwise the food was interesting, but not as good as we had elsewhere on this trip.

I did the Marais morning food tour in Nov. 2021. I was back in Paris in May 2023 with friends, recommended the tour so we did the late afternoon one. Arthur was a charming and informed guide, making the tour educational and fun. Food and wine tastings plentiful.

Food Tour in Marais

We went to so many fun places with a variety of foods from cheeses and wine to creme puffs and falafel. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. After 3 hours exploring the Marais area together, the group enjoyed sharing great conversation in a brasserie over cheese, pate, meats and wine.

Excellent tour of the Marais Neighbourhood

As an experienced traveler who has visited Paris often, I was in town for the weekend and searched for something fun but also a bit educational. Previously unaware of the history and nature of the Marais neighbourhood, I chose to this walking tour as a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon off! Needless to say, Kenya the tour guide was exceptional. As she grew up close-by, you could feel her enthusiasm about the neighbourhood - making the tour all that much better. The food tastings were tasty (especially the cheese at Les Enfants Rouges). The wines we tasted were nice table wines. Great tour and fun guide!

Eleanor was wonderful and so pleasant. This was my favorite tour next to Versaille. Foodie tours are always great and this one was no exception. Food samples were generous and the charcuterie board and escargot was a plus at the end. I also appreciated that they did not skimp on the wine. Only recommendation would be a better chocolate experience but all in all a wonderful "foodie" experience in Paris.

Our guide Nicolas was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. It was interesting to learn about the different regions that produced different cheeses or wines. It was also really interesting to realize how much the French value absolute freshness of their food. We wish that the tour had focused more on the history of the Marais, as well as on the food and wine. We liked being part of a small group of seven since we really felt like we got individual attention.

Wonderful food treasures in Le Marais

This was a great tour for our first day in Paris. The Marais section was rich with food, culture and history. Started and ended with wonderful wine and cheese and so many local sweets & treats in between. Hugo was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the food and history of the area as well as Paris overall. He definitely made the tour a lot of fun! Would highly recommend this 3 hour tour especially led by Hugo.

Delicious and Fun

This tour was FANTASIC! We have done a number of foodie walking tours. This was by far one of the best... and it always comes down to the guide. Eleanor was wonderful. She was full of all sorts of information about the history of the Marais area in addition to the wonderful food and wines we enjoyed along the way. You could tell she thoroughly enjoyed her job and that enthusiasm was passed along to the tour group. The group was on the larger size as last minute guests joined. But Eleanor did not skip a beat, made accommodations for the change in plans and made it enjoyable for all. We stopped at a number of places -- cheese and wine in a market, chocolate shop, various pastry delights (cream filled chou pastry, mounds of fluffy meringue, delicate macaron), an unusual jam/jelly shop, falafel shop, escargot, charcuterie boards and more wine. I do not know if the foods chosen change with tour groups... but we left filled with new favorites and added new places to visit on future trips to Paris. You should not be concerned about the length of the tour. The walk itself was easy even for older individuals. Plenty of stops to nibble along the way. I took my 89yr old mother on the tour. No issues.

We went on the 1600 tour 23/4/23. I say this because I can't remember our guides name but he was EXCELLENT. Wonderful food tastings, beautiful neighborhoods, delicious wine. I go on food tours in every city I visit and this was the best I've been too so far. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, helpful and kind. I can not recommended this tour more.

Ok, but not recommended. Cheese, wine, chocolate, jam and a visit to a brasserie. Very short time in the market with only one stop. Stops at shops was a low pressure sales tactic. Would not recommend.

Excellent tasty rainy day tour

France is famous for its food and this tour was a great way to sample a wide range of delicacies while experiencing the beautiful Marais district. Some were expected, like wine and cheese, but there were surprises like special cream puffs from Catherine de Medici. Do it!
