Brilliant tour guide who taught us a lot about art and art history. Doing the tour at night was great because the crowds were much smaller, so we got to see everything well. The lines were long, so it was also great to skip the line with our guide. There were only 6 on our tour, so we had plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Overall, a great experience.
This was THE best tour we've ever been on and Susan was absolutely fantastic. She showed us all of the major things to see and as we are not super big art people but she pointed out all of the cool stuff in the paintings and sculptures that we would've otherwise missed. She also kept things very interesting! She also had some great stories to go with the pieces that she showed us. Her tour gave us a great overview of the Louvre, efficiently. I can see how people spend hours there and with only a day and a half in Paris, we didn't have that luxury plus there is just so much to see! With this tour, we felt that we were able to really see the Louvre. We went back and forth about doing a tour before we booked this and after doing this tour, I would absolutely recommend taking a tour. Otherwise, you could very easily wander for hours seeing things but not truly appreciating them.
The leader was knowledgeable. She made sure she was understood and could be heard
Met early by the guide which was appreciated. Knowledgeable young man who accommodated the different levels of knowledge about the art pieces in the group members very well. A concise tour that took us to the highlights of The Louvre without any fuss or doubling back. A very professional event - well done!
What an amazing way to see the Louvre. Our guide, sorry I can't remember her name, did a fabulous job hitting all the highlights of the museum. It was obvious you could spend days at the Museum, but we managed to see the important sights. You are able to stay after the tour and roam around on your own if you wish. Highly recommend this.
This is definitely the way to see the Louvre! We had an amazing tour guide, Suzanne, taking the earliest tour in the morning. She showed us all the highlights, and then customized our time to see additional works of art that we were interested in. She saved us so much time from wandering the maze of the Louvre, gave us all the background information on the art works, and we learned so much from her. At the end of the tour you are free to spend as much additional time in the Louvre as you want. Save some time for the well stocked gift shop too!
A great way to visit the Louvre when time is restricted. Our guide was very interesting and informative.
Our tour guide, Jaqueline, was well organised and highly informative. She was extremely enthusiastic and worked hard to build a connection to our small group who ranged from children to older adults. We would highly recommend this tour.
Our group was small, only 5 people in it which was great and our guide was amazing! Really gave us good information, took us to to all the exciting areas, as the Louvre is very big! I highly recommend this tour, it is the perfect length-and if you want more, you can stay and explore on your own

There were only six of us on this tour and our fabulous Guide Lillya is a wonderful storyteller. She not only gave us just the right amount of information without boring us to tears but she is also enthuiastic, thoughtful and very interesting. We weren't rushed and she showed us all the popular displays and then more. A great way to get into the Louvre quickly and not get lost. After the tour we stayed on for another four hours but Lillya had shown us almost everything on our Louvre bucket list. Would highly recommend this tour.
Susan was the best!!! On a very busy day at the Louvre, she was able to make the tour intimate and give great information about the artwork and the building. It was a pleasure spending time with her. Highly recommend her as your tour guide.
We had an amazing tour guide for our Louvre tour. Her name is Josephine, and she made our tour awesome. She was an expert on the Louvre and French history, and her enthusiasm was contagious. She made this tour a highlight of our trip. Additionally, she explained how to use the Metro and helped us by showing us an app that made the rest of our trip so much easier. What could have been just another museum tour became a memorable exciting experience.
I loved this tour with Liliann- l had been to the Louvre before but she made everything so interesting and real that l loved every minute. Her connection with my daughter aroused her interest with the art and really learn- we are still talking about it. This was the highlight of my Paris trip !!!! Keep taking tours Liliann!

I LOVE the skip the line option and our guide was very knowledgeable and a good speaker. We had one person who kept getting lost in our small group but she would always quickly retreive them. It was fun and a very good day. She was also early and we had no trouble finding her. This is the service to use. I really like scheduling through Viatour as everything runs smoothly.
Wonderful. Could not have done it without our great tour guide. The Louvre is so large. It was perfect, especially with my 10 year old granddaugther.
Signed up for a small-group not realizing that the group size was limited to 6 persons. With 5 in our family, we had a private tour of the Louvre. Our guide was magnificent and my family was afforded a wonderful opportunity to interact with her during our tour. They appreciated the interaction and got to experience far more than they would have on a larger tour. Highly recommended!
We were the only two travelers on this small group tour. Alan-- an art historian- was excellent! I will always book a small group tour when visiting museums as massive as the Louvre.
Alan taught us so much about masterpieces and encouraged us to look carefully. We gleaned so much information from Alan.
A fantastic experience!
I highly recommend the small group tour. After walking passed everyone in line we were shown a great sampling of famous works of art. Our guide really loved her work and had a lot of knowledge.
This is one of the best tours in Paris. The Louvre can be overwhelming. The size, the crowds. If you are going to pay to skip a line - do it here. Also, it is so helpful to have a guide who is knowledgeable about the art and can guide you to the highlights. Lillia was the best!
Great tour, well worth the price, our guide was great on the small group tour . We saved a long wait on line to buy tickets.
After the tour we had time to explore on our own .
Not enough words to describe the tour, the guide and the museum. Great!
With only 6 in our group and our very knowledgeable guide, the tour was great. The museum is immense and I felt we got to see well chosen and endearing pieces.
We had a wonderful private tour just our family of 4 and baby with Susan who is very knowledgeable, both about the tremendous range of art displayed at the Louvre and the geography of its maze-like structure. Susan is obviously passionate about art and although any tour of the Louvre is limited in the face of its huge collection, we felt we received a well-chosen taste of its treasures and were left with a desire to return. She, like our guide at the Orsay museum the next day, was totally patient and helpful with our special needs baby's hunger etc...
