The Montmarte Art Walking Tour was wonderful. The weather was great, the walking was good, the sights were great, and the suggested eating places were excellent. I was especially happy to see places related specifically to Vincent van Gogh, and places that were used for paintings. Our tour guide was wonderful, funny, and helpful.
Musée de l'Orangerie was small, but it's quite a pretty little art gallery. Seeing Monet's water lily paintings in those giant rooms was quite interesting.
Musée d'Orsay was wonderful. The museum is beautifully constructed and there is so much art there. We were lucky to be there during an exhibit dedicated to nighttime scenes, which I love. Starry Night Over the Rhône was on display, and there were many other beautiful paintings by artists I've never heard of. I love nighttime paintings and landscapes, so this was a pleasure. And the sheer amount of Monets in other parts of the museum was wonderful. The marbles were also fantastic.
I loved this tour! Walking through the streets of the artist areas was awesome. A nice break from the high tourism areas. A tour guide was AMAZING. He was so much fun and incredibly knowledgeable. He was very passionate about the material and it made it very enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

It was a very wet day but Gerard did a wonderful job keeping the whole family entertained and engaged.
I took this walking tour with Delphine and she was a beautiful inside and out tour guide . , she gave a wonderful explanation of the area from the Moulin Rouge to the places where Picasso, Renoir etc painted and lived. This really is a tour for people with a basic background in French art/history and you should be able to walk easily. This was one of my favorite activities on my trip!
Our guide, Quentin, was a friendly, knowledgeable native Parisian. There was only one other family in our group, which was fitting for such a quaint, intimate setting. Our tour was led through quiet, uncrowded, picturesque winding cobblestone streets as we were informed of the Belle Époque artists who once called the hill home. I appreciated how the tour ended at the Sacre-Coeur, as this showcased a decent portion of the surrounding village and emphasized that the Basilica is just the district's most prominent feature, rather than its only part. I would highly recommend this tour for any art/art history enthusiasts!
Great way to see the highlights of Montmartre. This was probably my favorite tour of the several we did. Musee d'Orsay is amazing! We didn't have a chance to visit the Musee de l'Orangerie, unfortunately. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out great highlights of Montmartre.
Without Quinton, our tour guide, we would have been hopelessly lost in Montmartre and we would not have known the history.
The guide was friendly and informative. We learnt some great tips for getting the best from our time in Paris. The tour took us off the beaten track and made the art we saw in the galleries more meaningful.
We had a great Guide Quentin! He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the history of the area! Highly recommend this tour. Especially for those interested in the history of the artists that lived in the Montmatre area.
Marie is an excellent guide with a great knowledge of art and a sparkling personality. She is a credit to the guide industry of Paris, and specifically Monmartre.
Loved our guide Anna. Beautiful part of Paris, definitely shouldn't miss it. Great recommendation for lunch from Anna as well.
Our tour guide Romain was fabulous. He was well prepared with stories and photos of the art that he talked about. We went to many houses and workshops of famous painters. He could sing very well and did some Edith Piaf and others. Very knowledgeable guide. It was very cold and rainy on our tour but it didn't phase him and he carried on in spite of the fact that it was such a dismal day. We would highly recommend this tour and guide to a fantastic part of Paris.
We were so lucky enough to be in Montmartre on a rainy day and have a very customized tour for us. My husband and I met our amazing guide Claire at the bottom of the hill in Montmartre, from there she took us to see where Van Gogh lived, where Picasso used to work and funny stories about the village itself. We absolutely loved Claire, she was insightful, well-educated about the area and full of life. We were sorry to leave her. In all, I give this tour two thumbs up!

This was amazing, we went on this beautiful tour and our guide was this young 21 year old guy and he was amazing. He knew everything about Paris and its history. After the walking tour we went off to see the museums on our own. We walked so much but it was all worth it. Book this now!!
This tour was one of my favorite tours. Daryl, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable and nice. I learned a lot and really enjoyed walking through this part of Paris.
Quite enjoyable, but sometimes it was hard to hear our guide due to traffic noise.
We were very disappointed in this tour in Oct 16. The male guide had very limited knowledge of art it was really a walking tour of the Montmartre district which was not what we wanted or paid for. The walk ended in a secluded and hidden area at the back of Sacre Couer - which was a pleasant surprise. After this we found our own way to the Musée de l'Orangerie and then on another day to Musée d'Orsay. We would have been better off giving the walk a miss or going on a general walking tour of Montmartre with another operator and buying the tickets to the two collections ourselves on line.
