This tour was a real highlight of our visit to Paris. Our guide was a real Parisian, very knowledgable and passionate of the art and the area and he was a pleasure to stroll the beautiful streets of Montmarte with and see some of the off-the-beaten-path highlights. We visited the Musee d'Orsay the next day without our guide, but it felt like he was still with us some of the time, as the stories he told us stayed with us when we saw the impressionist art, in its original form. The ticket got us past all the queues, which was really welcome on a rainy Sunday.
Our group of 4 adults all found this tour delightful and immensely enjoyed ourselves– Adele brought the Montmartre neighbourhood to life for us with her enthusiasm, passion and local knowledge. Adele had many stories to share along the way, always illuminating our understanding of the original Impressionist artists who settled in Montmartre. Adele was also very entertaining & skilled in charting an intriguing and stimulating walk intermingled with some personal insights. Adele generously shared her local knowledge with her personal recommendations such as support for the local shop owners. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. We booked a variety of tours across our 3 weeks in France and this one with Adele was one of the best.
Montmartre was our Favorite part of the trip! Florent was a student in Montmartre, so he was able to give us a true Parisian's look at the area. He also has an excellent sense of humor, and kept us laughing! Go off the beaten tourist path! Well worth it!
Eric was an excellent guide as he walked us through the streets of Montmartre. His knowledge and humor made the walk so memorable .
Fun, informative, and great preparation for touring Musee d'Orsay! Montmartre is an intriguing section of Paris. Its history revolves around many of the Impressionist artists who frequented the area because of its cheap housing, food, and drink. We met our wonderful guide, Victor, at the Moulin Rouge. Steeped in history, it was only the beginning of this fascinating area. Victor, an art history expert, showed us famous places around the area and also explained why it looks so different from the rest of Paris long and interesting story. He also pointed out street art, the sites of famous artwork, and explained the vibe of Montmartre. We were especially impressed that we stopped at the actual site of a Renoir painting which we later saw at the Musee d'Orsay. Our guide's explanations and enthusiasm were contagious. You'll end your walk at Sacre Couer which also has a very amazing history and a funicular. .An added benefit is the tickets to the Musee d'Orsay a fabulous museum filled with Impressionist as well as other art. Well worth it! It should be longer....
Brilliant, awesome, exceptionallly knowledgeable guide! Loved it!
Fantastic, guide was great, neighborhood was wonderful. Small group, highly recommend.
Adele did a wonderful job leading us through her Montmartre where we saw many ateliers of the important artists from the late 1800's as well as historical buildings, markers and statues - and local-preferred shops. She had good insight into tourists' interests and many quality suggestions. Beautiful day for a walk, nice group and easy access to Sacre Coeur. Musee d'Orsay ticket was as promised, easy entry.
This was brilliant - very informative, great guide. Learnt a lot in a small amount of time.
Loved this walking tour, Our guide was amazing and I loved the area. We followed our guides recommended for lunch after the tour and we loved it. We then ubered to the Orsay on our own and Loved the museum.
We were of the morning tour of the 13th Aug. It was so nice to spend a morning with this tour.
Very knowledgeable, interesting and humorous guide! He worked overtime for this tour and still full of passion and patient in answering all questions from participants.
We highly recommend this item.
Victor was a great guide! It was lovely to learn more about this beautiful part of Paris!
There is so much more to Montmarte than the cheesy artists in the square. This was/is the area where impressionism and more was born. Our excellent Guide took us on a route that avoided many steps.

Good way to learn about this area. There are things our tour guide pointed out that we would have never known on our own, like Picasso's apartment. Our guide had a great sense of humor as well.
Quinton our guide was great! We thought we were booked on the afternoon trip and when we showed up for it, he said he had expected us in the morning. So he gave us a personalized tour. The pace was just right and he showed us things that he thought we would be interested in and would have never had access to some of the scenes on my own. Informative and pleasurable!
This was an exceptional tour, and certainly one of the most unique we had in Paris. It was a private tour, just our family with our guide, Adele, who is an actress. Meeting her was just as much a part of the tour as the sightsshe captured the artsy, effervescent air of Montmartre in her gushing about the history and pointing out her personal favorite shops. Montmartre is a must-see to contrast and complement the touristy parts of your time in Paris some streets were bustling, others quiet, all beautiful and full of history.
our tour guide Audrey was excellent! We have been to Monmartre several times in the past and learned things you will never find on tour books.
May was a fantastic guide and we loved our quick tour of Montmartre. Highly recommend!
Excellent tour. Amazing. I learned more about Paris in two hours than I did in two days there.
