Oh yes, views are amazing.
At night signage to get in isn't great so wanted round the tower till you find the main entrance !
Even though I wasn't able to go here in the evening to see Paris by night, it was still incredible to get a 360 degree view, including the Eiffel Tower. The champagne at the top was the cherry on top!
Very easy to get to on the Metro. No queues when we went in the late morning. Views are unbeatable, the whole of Paris is laid out before you with all the major landmarks easily identifiable. Nice cafe and friendly helpful staff everywhere. The surrounding area has plenty cafes and shops and was a nice place to spend a couple of hours over lunch. Really enjoyed our visit.
The views are spectacular and the champagne helped. We had plenty of time to look around and it was not crowded-a good alternative to the Eiffel Tower
If you want the best view over Paris then you need to visit Montparnasse Tower, you can see for miles and the bonus is that you get a fantastic view that includes the Eiffel Tower!
Location is great too, plenty of shopping and places to eat close by.
This tour was amazing!
LOved the view!!
It was raining like crazy all day then fog and rain at night. BUT...the place is well suited to wide observation of Paris. It really is way up. Clean, comfortable, easy to get to on Paris Metro, well staffed and has an attractive snack bar at top. The restrooms were spotless. SOmetimes the fog drifted away and parts of Paris were visible - and they were spectacular. So get a clear night and have fun. Recommended.
We enjoyed this very much, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Wish the weather would have been nicer but still worth the look. Keep in mind that you don't have to go the date of the ticket. The ticket is good any day you wish to go. I believe you have about 6 months.
We went in March so it wasn't busy. Its further out in relation to other attractions around the city but worth it and easy to get to on the metro.
We had booked ahead online, it wouldn't have been a problem to buy a ticket on the day because there was no queue but I can imagine its wise to book ahead in summer when its busier.
Going up in the lift makes your ears pop!
There's two viewing areas-one inside with a café, gift, toilets etc and is warmer! You get to the other viewing platform by going up some stairs and outside. Its mostly sheltered with gaps in the glass to allow for better photo taking. The view is incredible!
There was some seating, it wasn't busy but I can imagine in summer there not being enough if you wanted to spend a bit of time up there to enjoy the view.
The overall experience of booking online, getting there and going up the tower was easy and enjoyable. This is definitely something I would do again at a different time of year to get a different perspective of Paris and will recommend to people as a must do attraction during their stay.
