Great Tour. The trip from Paris was beautiful. Our guide was wonderful, and very informative. Visiting the various beaches and American cemetery was powerful. I would recommend this tour.
This is well worth the trip. Every aspect of this tour exceeded my expectations. our tour guide, Vincent, was very thorough, gave us lots of information without feeling like a lecture. There was plenty of time for everything. Our group was a total of 6 guests so it was easier and more pleasant going around. Lunch was phenomenal. Even the drive from Paris was great as it gave us time to rest.
Highly recommended. Physically standing on the locations I had only previously read about, and imagining these brave young men and what they through about was unbelievably moving.
Our guide was a lovely women who kept us engaged, and went above and beyond, considering the 14 hour duration. You can tell the points were they can just send you off on your own and she didn't, and was very accommodating with questions and explanations.
The stops did feel a bit rushed, but not much can you do about that when your traveling that distance in one day. If you can't devote a few days to the area, this is an excellent option.
Our tour guide was extremely informed and knowledgeable However for an older person it was a lot of walking.
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, I think her name was Jollie, was amazing. Her knowledge of the war, the politics, the personalities, the battles, the challenges was extraordinary and she delivered the information in a way that really drew you in. It is difficult to do Normandy justice in a single day and we often wished we had more time but all the places we stopped were fascinating and 14 hours was already a long day. Kudos to our driver, Nicholas this wasnt an easy route and he did a great job. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Long day, but worth every minute. Guide was super and the trip was wonderful.
Loads of History. amazing tour. The war museum and the D Day battlefields actually brought to life what i had learnt as a child while in School.

One of the best tours we have done. Both educational and moving at the same time. Highly recommend this tour.
I was fantastic. Our tour guide Hevje was great .he was informative and answered all our questions. The lunch in the country was great. We would recommend this tour for anyone interested in the story of D-Day.
Long day, but well worth it...the staff, both driver and guide were very good....tons of information...very comfortable coach....a definite recommend, but get a good nights rest before the tour...nice lunch included....

Great guide!!! So humbling and sobering!!! Every American should see.....
Long day, terrific tour guide who was is knowledgeable and funny. Recommended to the adventurer who loves history...
Christian was a terrific guide. She was in tune to the needs of all on the tour which impressed us due to the size of the group. Our son is a history buff and loved every aspect of the tour. He wished he had more time in the museum, but the tour is a very long day and there is really no way to pack more in. It was an informative and moving day.
The trip was fantastic. Florence was an amazing guide- the perfect balance of humor and historical information.
Highly recommend the small group tour - we had six people 3 Aussie, 3 American and our tour guide was Herve. Herve is extremely knowledgeable about WW1 and WW2 history and through his commentary on the drive to Normandy, set the stage for what we were going to see that day.
The drive is long, but Herve did a nice job of breaking it up with a short stop for snacks each way.
Van was comfortable and well suited for the group size. Lunch at the scenic farm house was delicious and provided a wonderful opportunity for the group to interact and discuss what we had seen - and differences in how history is presented and taught in each country France vs Australia vs. USA.
We visited Pointe-du-Hoc, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery, Canadian Cemetery and the seaside village of Arromanches where the artificial harbors can still be seen in the water.
I recommend this tour if you only have one day to get to Normandy. Very well done.
First - the office for departure on the bus was very easy to find so that look a lot of stress off of our group. The guides were amazing - we had a double decker bus, and two guides which I appreciated. We enjoyed the Caen Memorial - don't miss the bunker outside of the building! Due to the lateness of two of the people on our bus, we had only 10 minutes at Omaha Beach. Ensure that you know where people are meeting and get there on or before the scheduled meeting time so that you don't take time away from the other - almost 50 people in our case - on the journey. Other than that, I would very highly recommend this trip.
Good tour, good choice of places to stop, very interesting.
Tough to cover everything in one day but good try.
Lunch was very good.
Tour guide very knowledgeable
