This was a great tour. We had Leo as our guide and she was very knowledgeable and informative, which was so much bett than the audio guide. I didn't read carefully enough that you still have to pay to get into the catacombs, but the overall price was still reasonable.
This was a good tour and money well spent. Very interesting history down there.
Our tour guides was excellent, very knowledgeable and entertaining!
Our guide was super professional and very knowledgeable not only about the Catacombs but about Paris history. You could tell that she was passionate about the subject and we learned a lot. I highly recommend!
Very interesting tour of the catacombs - something you would never think is right under the bustling city streets of Paris! Our guide was well informed and able to answer all of our questions!
This tour belongs on your list of things to do in Paris. Our tour guide Louie was so informative and truly seemed to enjoy giving the tour. We were always informed what was going on because a long line did start to form. Thanks to our amazing tour guide, she kept our spots so that we could get some coffee, use the bathroom, etc.
The catacombs was a breath taking experience with the added bonus of having Leo with us to really give us all the extra info! I would book the tour again next time we are in Paris! Loved it! Rebecca from Sydney
This tour was really terrific and our guide extremely informative!
EXCELLENT!!! From start to finish this tour of the Paris Catacombs was excellent! Our tour guide, Carla, was super friendly and full of information! We learned so much and totally enjoyed the tour! Would do it again in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend!
The catacombs is an interesting place to visit. Having a knowledgeable guide really makes a difference in understanding and appreciating this very important landmark. Our guide was a young Canadian gentleman, in Paris studying art history. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. I
His stories about how the catacombs came to be, how they are organized and their relevance in history were excellent. I definitely recommend going to the catacombs however, if you are claustrophobic this may not be the place for you. The ceilings are low in spots and the hallways narrow, though not overly so. Overall, great experience and recommend this company.
This was a really great tour, very personal and the tour guide was great. She was amazingly well informed on history of catacombs and was clearly genuinely interested in them. I would happily recommend to anyone.
my husband Steve and I both loved tour guide Leo Eleanor she was very sweet and personable and has excellent rapport with her group! the fact that it was raining that day added to the somber ambiance of what we were about to experience. Thank you so much Leo! fyi it was our first time visiting Paris, and we absolutely enjoyed Paris! Leo is a keeper!

This tour was worth having a guide for and I recommend you wear suitable foot wear for the walk ahead of you! We met opposite the Catacombs in the early morning around 8:45am by the metro station and a young girl Raffaele? approached us and double checked our names from her list, she then told us to meet outside the Catacombs around 9:30am, so we decided to grab a coffee and made our way back shortly after that. As we stood outside the Catacombs from 9:30am to the time they opened 10am I think, you could see the queue building up behind us and by the time it had opened the queue pretty much was half way around the building. During this time Raffaele explained to us the history behind the Catacombs and how the bones ended up here I found this very interesting as I didnt know any of the history behind it. Though we had booked this in advance, we had to pay entry to get in it does state this before you book it though I think, anyway kids under 16 or 18 not sure which one get in free and people under 26 get a discount which was a nice surprise for us. As we entered we had to go down spiral stairs and it actually made me a little dizzy so take it easy when you go down. When we got down to the bottom, Raffaele explained the time lines and stuff to us and how the black line in the ceiling got there and what the numbers on the walls meant. She translated the plaques above the entrance into the Catacombs and the ones inside also. It was so eye opening and actually quite sad to think what the people back then must have gone through. When we got the end we had to get up some spiral stairs again and on the opposite site of the exit is an unofficial souvenir store. All in all I really enjoyed the tour, it was probably around two hours long and I would definitely recommend it to people but like I said good shoes and take some water with you.
Excellent tour - very educated and entertaining guide. Highly recommend
Marc was our guide. He took us on a great tour. We were the only ones in his group on this day, but he gave us the best tour experience we could have asked for. He was very well informed and answered all of our questions.
I really recommend ths tour!

It was great to get there early and skip the line. There's not much to read when you're inside so having a guide is a great way to learn more. I'd recommend this tour.
