What a fun way to spend a day in Paris! Our guide took us to several locations in the St Germain neighborhood. Each place had a different specialty, and we enjoyed sampling the best of what each had to offer. Our knowledgeable guide offered lots of history and local lore along the way. We especially enjoyed that this was just a little off the typical touristy path, but we could walk right back to Notre Dame when we finished the tour. This is one of our favorite Viators ever!
We had a great tour guide with lots of interesting facts and details about the food and the city. She was very knowledgeable and attentive to us. The food was amazing! The chocolates tasted incredible, a wide variety with the history of them included. The breads were delicious and we used the information during the rest of our stay in Paris! Thank you Randa!!

This tour was awesome! My sister and I were the only ones booked on this wonderful tour. Our guide, Erli, had an absolute passion for chocolate, along with tremendous knowledge. She took us to 6 different chocolate and pastry shops. We could pick what we wanted to sample. Wow! We learned about macaroons, something that neither of us had ever tasted. They are delicious! The tour was exquisite and provided us with a very personal look at Paris. I would highly recommend this tour!
We spent a wonderful three hours with Marc exploring various chocolate and pastry shops along with a couple of terrific bakeries, Marc provided superb commentary throughout the three hour tour and I don't think I've ever eaten so well on an excursion as I did on this one. Our tour started in the Saint-Germain district. First rate!
We chose the St Germain location for our tour. Our tour guide Randa was engaging and knowledgeable. The tour group was small which we appreciated. My 14-year-old daughter and I were grouped with a family of five. The three children ranged from about four years old to nine years old. Randa was wonderful with the children. My daughter and I agreed that watching the tour guide interact with the younger children was a wonderful part of the tour. And, the pastry and chocolate were delicious. We ate so much and learned a lot too including great history tidbits. The tour guide had good relationships with store owners. Highly recommend this tour.
What an amazing experience and the most delicious way to learn the history of the Marais district. I highly recommend!
This tour really was amazing, we went to about 4-5 pastry/chocolate shops and got to try something from everywhere. David was our guide and he was soooo awesome!! Gave us history of saint Germaine and history of the pastry shops as well as how they were made. It was a well-worth afternoon spent !
This was such a treat for the whole family! We had a wonderful guide who shared information both about the history and making of chocolate and pastries as well as teaching us about the history and architecture of the Marais.
My mom and I took this tour together and had an absolutely wonderful time. The guide we had was tremendously knowledgeable about not just chocolate, but Parisian history as well--not to mention very kind. This tour was the whole package because it took us to the hidden and also famous spots in the St. Germain neighborhood where we tried something different at every stop. She also took her time to point out significant places and landmarks and shared history that made this tour all the more meaningful and informative. The group was intentionally kept small so we all felt free to ask questions, and it made the experience that much better. I can't say enough about this tour and would take it again in a second. We left with full bellies and brains.
We had an AMZING time on our Chocolate and Pastry tour. Our guide, Josie, was awesome! She was extremely knowledgable, personable, and a fellow Chicagoan so we got along great! My husband and I were in Paris for our honeymoon, and being a couple of food lovers, this tour was right up our alley. What was even better was that it ended up being a private tour, as we were the only ones signed up! It was great to walk around Paris, not only exploring a new area of the city, but learning the history of breads, jams, chocolates, macarons, and so much more! We had so much fun tasting all the different food items and talking with the different shop owners and workers mostly through Josie as her French is MUCH better than mine : and we discovered so many new things! I, for one, discovered that I actually DO like White Chocolate, I've just never had it made correctly. We also discovered a new favorite jam shop that we will for sure be visiting when we are in Paris again. Overall, it was one of our favorite activities of our Honeymoon, and highly recommend anyone visiting Paris check out!
