Victoire was wonderful!
Don_C, Aug 2022
Victoire was wonderful. Her stories were fascinating, and her sense of humor made the tour all the more interesting.
A unique experience

Do not click on the street number it takes you to the front entrance, follow the subway directions. Missed the guild because of it. No refunds offered when asked for a 50% discount because it was partly our fault. Not to worry, the Map of famous head stones is at the entrance. No need for guides. QR code gets the map on your phone. Take your time, do a self guided tour instead. We were more relaxed and saw every ourselves with no pressure.
Perfection

Tour was fantastic, guide was fantastic. Good selection of the cemetery with a mixture of celebrities, hero's and interesting stories.
Great tour and great value

Hamish was awesome!
Sara_E, Jul 2022
Hamish was fantastic - very warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We had a great time and would highly recommend.
Could have spent an entire day there!
Anne_D, Jul 2022
Great guide - especially enjoyed the history of burial in Paris from the time of the Romans up to the time Pere Lachaise was founded. The whole cemetery is fascinating, and the Holocaust memorials we’re very moving.

Knowing the guide or company could not care less about me. Email given, phone number taken, but not a care.
An interesting and enjoyable tour.
Robert_B, Jul 2022
Our tour guide, Hamish, was very friendly and very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. We learned some very interesting facts about some of the people buried in Pere Lachaise plus interesting facts about the Cemetery itself. A very worthwhile adventure!
No Show Guide, No Refund
Christopher_P, Jul 2022
Tour guide did not show up at appointed spot at the time specified. Unable to get a refund. Unprofessional, Viator unable to help, City Wonders (contracted tour company) unable to help. Avoid at all costs.
Walked through the cemetery and visit key sites
Neil_B, Jul 2022
Found the guide easily at the metro and we then walked through the cemetery, looking at key graves and monuments, including Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde. Be prepared to walk a little and the pathways are not massively smooth - but what would you expect? All in all a very interesting learning experience. The guide was happy at the end to point out any particular graves that we wanted to see, but hadn't been past at that point too - very helpful!
Bad carma
Linda_G, Jul 2022
Missed couldn't locate the meet point. Very confusing due to many gates. Had to pay the fee with no tour
A Must while in Paris!
Michael_W, Jul 2022

A Must for a Paris Visit
MichaelL_M, Jun 2022
Navigating the cemetery with a guide was helpful. It is a huge place and she did offer to take requests. Guide's history was a little off kilter but she was very enthusiastic.
No guide, no tour.
Tedesco, Jun 2022
Unsure as to why we were supposed to meet our guide at the Alexandre Dumas metro stop, which was quite a distance from the main entrance of the cemetery. Our taxi driver was very confused also and ended up dropping us at an entirely different metro stop, so by the time we found and sprinted to the Dumas stop, we were 15 mins late and the guide was gone. Took the very long walk back to the cemetery and walked around by ourselves, but was disappointed as we had really been looking forward to this particular tour.
A must visit especially if you love history.
Maria_K, Jun 2022
Fun & interesting but be ready to walk a lot on cobblestones. A guide helps since it’s so large & difficult to find tombstones.
Great tour!!
Jill_J, Jun 2022
The guide, Victoire, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and interesting. She was very sweet and helpful. We learned so much from this tour. Pére Lachaise is huge. You’ll be wandering around missing the highlights without the tour or some form of guide.
Great tour knowledgeable guide
Monique_A, Jun 2022
Vic was an excellent and very friendly guide! She had so much knowledge about the stories behind the graves and the contextual history. We would however have liked to see a few more graves considering the time of the tour. But still truly recommend
Great tour, recommendable!
Jennifer_S, Jun 2022
Very interesting tour around the cemetery, would recommend to always go with a tour, as the place is very big and you would otherwise miss the interesting spots. The guide was very nice, made the tour very short while had some funny details to share about the celebrities.
The tour was excellent....
Justin_S, Jun 2022

angelamstevens, Jun 2022
We were at the Alexandre Dumas stop as instructed but no guide! There was very busy market, people. Five other people were also there for your tour. We were all very disappointed! It was a hot day and we came. I am angry. No email, no message or apology. And credit?
