Victoire was a great guide, starting with the history of burial customs in France and going through the creation of Pere Lachaise put everything in good perspective. We enjoyed her commentary about each of the gravesites we visited and she pointed out other artistic and interesting graves. Questions were encouraged and thoroughly answered and the tour was time well spent.

Victoire was an excellent guide. The cemetery is very large and a bit of a maze so I am glad she was there to show us some of the famous and historical people buried there. She also gave us a lot of historical context that was valuable at the cemetery as well as other attractions that we visited in Paris.

We had such an incredible time discovering this cemetery with our tour guide. She was engaging and knew exactly where to go. We were also able to stick around the cemetery after the tour had finished to wander. We highly recommend this tour!

We were there 10 mins before the tour and there was no one there. We approached the 3 tours we saw in the area and none of them was our tour. I called customer service for a meet up inquiry and no one was picking up. I was put on hold a long time which cost me precious roaming minutes. When I booked, it asked for my number but did not even get a text.

Took the tour with Vic well that’s at least what she said to call her. Amazing tour around the cemetery. She was extremely knowledgeable and made sure everyone got to see what they wanted to. I couldn’t imagine coming to the cemetery without a tour and don’t know if there are many better than the one we had. I would definitely book this tour and I would try for sure to get Vic as your guide.

Poor customer service

I booked the tour at the last moment. The Viator website did not let me make a payment online. So, I had to call Viator to submit the payment; this took some time. As the result, I was running about 10 minutes late. I called the local operator City Wonders. I did not ask to hold the group for me. I asked for a guide's telephone number so I can call them to find out where in the cemetery they are. She refused. I asked to get the guide text message me their location. She refused that too. As the result, I missed the tour altogether. I don't think my request was unreasonable and I find not granting it poor customer service.
