On time and comfortable, but shared and so not the quickest way to the hotel.
Mixed up the arrival and departure comments but the departure was prompt and efficient at 6:15am. At that hour it was an easy ride to the airport. We were the first people to be left off too. See Arrival comments if necessary
Not only did I have to wait almost two hours for the shuttle to arrive, the seats had bed bugs crawling all over the seats!! I didn't find out until I was bit several times and noticed them all over the seats. Awful shuttle service!!
1 No signs at all to tell us where to go. Went to information booth and they told us a door to go to. Went to that door and saw nothing. Went outside and someone said they thought we should wait there. We did. We saw a Paris Shuttle van pull into parking lot but no driver came out. We went to him way across the lot and he said, yes, he had our name. But wait, he thought some other driver ought to take us so he took us to that driver and they argued for a while. We finally got stuck with the first driver. He took the driver side mirror off leaving the parking lot and then turning up the ramp, scraped the entire side of the van because he was driving too fast. It was an extremely scary drive. He was on his cell phone much of the time and nearly had many accidents. I cancelled my return transfer and will never use your services again once I get home. This was a horrifying experience that took three hours which also wasted a good bit of my time in Paris. Never again.
We decided to arrange an advance group transfer thinking it would be cheaper and easier. It was 13 Euro cheaper than a private taxi, however we had to wait in the van on a hot summer day for the other two parties to join us. We also had to find the phone and call to say we had arrived even though we had previously given them our flight information. We spent 20-30 minutes waiting as the next two sets of travelers joined the van. Then the driver was very crabby. Would opt for a private transport from a different company than ParisShuttle.
You are instructed to call the company once you clear customs and have your luggage. We did this and were told that the driver would be there in 30 minutes or less. The instructions given on where to meet the driver were terrible and not many people in the airport spoke English well enough to assist us. We finally found where we were supposed to be after more than 30 minutes and the driver was still not there. He finally showed up and loaded our luggage. However, we then had to sit there for another 30 minutes or so while he left to find the other passengers. As it turns out, these were people from our same flight so I am not sure what took them so long. In my opinion, there should have been a time limit for how long we waited and then another shuttle could have been sent for the late passengers. The driver's actual driving was also a little scary and we had to unload our own bags at the hotel. Overall, it was nice to have this booked before leaving the states, but the actual experience left a lot to be desired. We probably could have taken a cab without the long search for our pickup point or long wait for other passengers for a similar price.
We called to let them know we had our luggage and had arrived. They told us where to wait and that the driver would be there in more than 30 minutes. It was more than 30 minutes and people were coming and going. We kept thinking, maybe this is our driver. He finally arrived and was nice and courteous. However, we then had to pick up two more groups. We left the airport area, to the train station, and then back to the airport. After two hours we finally arrived at our hotel. We were the last to be dropped off I understand they need to go the best way possible. Its not that we were first picked up, and last dropped off, but that it took so long. We should have taken a taxi, for less money and gone straight to the hotel. The driver was good, and not his fault. Just wish we had made a different decision.
