The highlight of our weekend in Paris was the walking tour with Steph. Given her educational background and pleasing personality, I would want to take another tour that had she was leading. We were looking for a tour that gave us highlights of the city and enough information that we could decide later if we wanted to come back. Registration was easy and the meet-up location was easy to find as well. Fortunately, the tour group itself was about 5 people so the tour was intimate, educational and went by very quickly. It did not seem as though 3 hours had passed until we reached the end of the tour at Notre Dame. We walked through a good portion of Paris attractions spending a few moments in front of each starting at the Eiffel Tower and ending at Notre Dame. It was the end of Sept so bring a small umbrella as it sprinkled here and there in the morning but ended up being a sunny, warm day. Being a smaller group, we were also fortunate enough to hear everything Steph had to say and huddle in given street noise. I highly recommend Steph as a tour guide and given this was our first time in Paris, we were spoiled by her knowledge of the city. Keep up the great work!
Extremely interesting and informative walking tour. Gil, our guide, was excellent!
The best tour. There were only 4 of us in this tour, my husband and a couple from Australia. Our tour guide Gill was the best. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him. My husband and I ended up with a lot of pictures together because Gill was taking our pictures. We had lunch at Jardin de Tulieres in between the walking tour and had the best time with our small group. The walk around Paris was enviro rating and the weather was cool with the sun out.
Gil was an excellent guide. From the moment our small group arrived our interest never stopped as he told us stories and shared his wealth of knowledge. He was very good at keeping the group together as we walked to just about every major site in the city centre. We stopped for lunch in Jardin des Tuilleries on a beautiful sunny day. To see such places such as the site of the royal beheadings during the French revolution, the most famou avenue in the world, Napolean's Tomb and of course Eiffel Tower complete with all the history was beyond words. Thank you so much.
Our walking tour with Gil was an excellent introduction to Paris. We saw all of the highlights of this great city and were given a wonderful history lesson on the city and its monuments, churches, bridges, parks, architecture, royalty and military history. Lunch in the park was an added bonus. Wonderful experience.
The trip was very great. We admired the tour guider's knowledge and friendliness.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the places we went to, and had some fascinating stories to tell about the history of Paris. I had a great time, and the tour is definitely very good value for money
Lots of fun and tour guide was excellent. Definately do this if you have a short amount of time but want to see Paris.
Loved it!! Our guide, Gil, was amazing. We had a smaller group - only about 7 - and the tour was perfect. It was really such a good view into Paris in a way my mom and I certainly could not have conjured on our own. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone beginning a longer tour of Paris or France, or for anyone visiting for a short time and wanting to see a little bit of everything with great stories to tell along the way!
My tour Guide was Stephanie and she was really great.. She was knowledgeable and told the histories of each building we visited in great details..
Amazing tour with an amazing guide. Well worth it. Better to know the history of each place rather than just 'see' the attraction/monument by yourself.
Our guide was Stefanie. Was was excellent, beyond well informed and a very nice person too!
First things first, this is a 3 hour walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes. We were met by Kit the tour guide as arranged. Kit introduced himself and provided an outline of the tour. The other tourists (there were just 4 of us in the group) and we began the trip. Kit was a friendly enthusiastic tour guide, and it felt like we were being shown around Paris by a friend, rather than someone who was being paid to do a job.He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about Paris and its buildings, and made the tour come alive with his descriptions and storytelling. There are plenty of photographic opportunities along the way. Would recommend this tour.
