What You Can Expect

Paris to Bruges Day Trip

Bruges, Belgium

Board a coach in Paris for the scenic drive into Belgium through the northern part of France. Bruges sits in northern Belgium, near the North Sea, in the region known as Flanders.

Despite the history of war in this area, the Medieval center of Bruges is amazingly well-preserved – so much so that the historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Your visit to Bruges begins with a guided walking tour of the charming Medieval center, including ornately-decorated buildings, the Saint-Sang Basilica on Place du Bourg, the Beguine Convent, the Gothic City Hall and the 12th-century Markt Square with its iconic bell tower.

After the walking tour, take a brief canal cruise (for summer visits, from April to October) to see this charming city from the water, followed by free time to explore Bruges on your own. (Visitors during the rest of the year go straight from the walking tour to leisure time in Bruges.) Take advantage of your free time to see Flemish art museums, shops selling handmade lace or enticing Belgian chocolate shops.

What a beautiful place, unfortunately for us it poured with rain all day, that's nature though, but we still walked around, went on a canal boat ride and got absolutely drenched, this is a place a would love to go back and spend more time in. Despite the rain I could see the beauty of Bruge.

We loved Bruges and enjoyed the tour. Maybe not quite enough time on our own, but you can only do so much in a partial day.

Excellent! Very knowledgeable guide, the stay in the city a bit short, but very good in general.

Trip was neat, great place to visit, nothing to complain about really, But was it worth it, it took 4 hours to get there, 4 hours or more to get back and u had about 5 hours there, so that will be up to you, I would probably skip the trip if I had to do over.... it was a long day....But that is not anybodies fault, this was known before we booked, just not sure if it was worth it, but if you wanted a place to stay for a night or two in Belgium, this would be a great and neat place to book for a couple of nights

Beautiful town and a trip worth taking a day out of Paris to see different architecture and experience a different culture. Wonderful chocolate and lace shops, tapestry shops. A canal boat ride is a good way to see the city. Beautiful churches to visit in a very peaceful setting. Would loved to have stayed a few days to explore.
