Great experience at this tour. Mona Lisa was a little disappointing since I had hope for a huge painting, but alas it's almost an A3 size canvas painting displayed in a distance and heavily guarded by armed personnel. Otherwise, the Louvre Museum tour was breath-taking to say the least and it was most enjoyable. One valuable advice - DO NOT attempt to tour the Louvre Museum in 1-day - it's NOT possible to see so much "art" in just one day.
Our Guide was very Good and Practical, We waited for a while for the museum to open due to pending strike, but she rushed us to the front of the line and the Louvre opened up. We enjoyed her practicality in being able to see what was important, never rushed and it was an excellent opportunity.
Our guide was knowledgable and she focused on some of the must sees. Highly recommended if you just want to see some of the famous paintings and art pieces.
I would have missed so much had I not gone on this tour. The Louvre is overwhelming to say the least. Our guide made it interesting, informative, and in some cases, funny. Highly recommend it.
Our guide was very knowledgable and led us to some of the most popular exhibits. It was perfect for us as we didn't want to spend the whole day at the Louvre.
I can't imagine going to the Louvre without a guide. The Louvre is huge and like a maze. If you have a very short time in Paris, get on this tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I'm impressed with the quality. I highly recommend this tour in particular.
My husband and I were picked up at our hotel by Adrian, the tour guide. We had a wonderful time and Adrian provided us with a narrative of the area as we went along. His passion and love for the history of this area was amazing and we couldn't of had a better tour guide. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone even if you are not a history buff.
It is better to pay little extra and cut the lines. The guide office right next to the Louvre.
Definitely get your tickets ahead of time! Very long lines. Our tour guide was great and we learned a lot being in such a small group!
This tour was everything it promised and more. The Louvre is mind blowing! Our Guide Frederique was very knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly and approachable. What also impressed be about Frederique was her ability to politely keeping people moving. With a venue as big as the Louvre you are never going to see everything, and yet some group members appeared determined to. To ensure the rest of the group got to see what they had paid for, Frederique managed the dawdlers extremely well. I would highly recommend this tour to any first time Louvre visitors.
Tour guide was entertaining as well as very informative. Would definitely book this tour
Easy access to the Louvre, worth every penny moving to the front of the line. In addition, unless you are an art expert having the guide is a tremendous benefit. You can stay there all day after the tour if you like.
If time is money then this is a no brainer...
The tour was nothing short of magic with the guide being very personable and extremely knowledgeable however I would never book another tour with Viator as they "earmark' your money on your credit card before they even know if they can fulfil the request for a tour. I had two occasions where I tried to book a tour and they could not satisfies my required dates and as such they "froze" Euro 231 on my debit card. It was near the end of my holiday and my debit card was nearly expired so I had limited money left and it took 7 days to have the money given back to me - I was already home. Their business practices are inappropriate and whats more they require you to confirm bookings you have already made and paid for - this is simply self interest an even airlines gave up this practice decades ago.
