We had an awesome day! The trip was well the time and money. Our guide “Momo” could not have been more nicer. He was on time, very knowledgeable, friendly, and let the group take their time at the locations when needed. The cider tour was a little short but that was no problem because the focus was on the WWII sites. Even the owner of the cider farm was super nice. The country side of France was historic and beautiful. If you ever thought about going to Normandy, this is the trip!

The driver/guide was ready to go promptly at the designated time and location. The drive to the Normandy region was pleasant — the shuttle bus was comfortable and we stopped about halfway to visit a rest area for a bathroom/snack break. Along the way the guide shared interesting facts and information about the area. The tour itself was well planned. The guide, Antoine, had so much information and could answer all the questions. He also had a notebook with him with more detailed overhead pics of the area. I never felt rushed and had time to see everything. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants a day trip from Paris to the Normandy region to see the cemetery and beaches.

This Day trip is worth the price. We had Olivia as a host and she was amazing. Although it was raining, she was very accomadating to those who were cold, etc. I learned so much on this tour. We were a group of 8 and it was perfect. Not a lot of walking for those who likes light activities.

I highly recommend this amazing day trip from Paris. Nicolas and his son Elliot were our guides, and they were wonderful. Nicolas is a career cinematographer and as such gave an insightful and atmospheric tour. and he's a great driver!!! We were a group of 6 Americans in a very comfortable van we met up at the Arc de Triomph. Its a long ride out from Paris, but we had a yummy snack stop along the way oh man, why can't US turnpike stations be like that!!! and the time went by quickly as Nicolas delivered a lecture on WW2 from the French perspective as well as commentary on the towns that we passed through.

Once in the region, our tour took us through small Normandy towns that were occupied by the Nazis, the Omaha beach region which we saw first from the German bunkers then from the US perspective as we descended to the beach which is breathtakingly beautiful, a local museum with many artifacts, a lovely outdoor restaurant for lunch, and then to the US cemetery where we stayed for about 1 1/2 hours - some of which Nicolas guided and some we were respectfully left to our own thoughts.

After the cemetery we went to an apple cider/liquor place for a tasting a bit of a tourist trap for a short visit. You can buy some nice products there -- caramel, cheese, cider/spirits.

We especially enjoyed spending time with the others in our group who too viewed Normandy as an important place to visit during our lifetimes. It was a moving and spiritual day -- we all had chills. Thank you Nicolas for your wonderful tour and making this day one of the most special of our lives.

This was a long day, but probably the best part of our 3 week vacation. Visiting Normandy was very special to us, and our guide was excellent! He made the places we were seeing come alive. And even though it was only a day trip we were given enough time to appreciate each stop.

This review is for Blue Fox Tours. The tour guide, Amari, was excellent. Very good English, extremely knowledgeable in many topics (of course WWII among them). He took us to about 6 sites (view of Rommel's Normandy home, Omaha Beach, Point Du Hoc, apple farm for orchard tasting, Overlord Museum, American military cemetery). Along the way he was extremely personable and kept the long drive interesting. Highly recommend this tour!!

Met the driver/guide Amaury before 7am for the trip to Normandy. He was an excellent guide who provided lots of information. Would highly recommend the small group as it was much easier to visit the areas. It was hard to imagine the landings when the weather was so perfect but going to the Cemetery put it all in perspective. We were at the Cemetery when they lowered the flags and played taps. It all came into perspective at that moment.
