I would recommend going on the tour in the morning as crowds get very big and the rooms can be small.

If you manage no traffic you get to spend more time in the gardens

Perfect amount of time unless you want to wander/explore the gardens in which case you would be short on time .

Many things promised, few delivered

Not a mini coach to location as advertised, but on a double decker bus with multiple groups.. Small groups once at location. The English speaking guide wasn't very clear, hard to understand. Guided tour was supposed to include gardens, it did not.. Had to do the gardens on our own. Not worth the price paid for the tour.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was excellent and informative. Pickup and return were on time, and it was a short, comfortable bus trip. It was a great way to see one of the spectacular not to be missed sites in Paris.

Great service. Everything was very easy to navigate and very organized. Only issue, we could not hear the lady on the tour due to the head pieces having so much static. She was able to fix them about half way through by changing her mic. Everything else was perfect!

The tour guide, Julienne, was very good. He gave us a very knowledgeable explanation of the various rooms, art,and history of Versailles. The Departure process, however, should have been more organized with better signs explaining who we needed to see for our check in process as there were several tours in the same area.

This tour was extremely disappointing. The tour guide didn’t have the tickets so we waited outside for 50 minutes. The tour guides translation into English was poor. Most of the tour left the guide and looked around themselves.

Not a small group tour

This trip was to be the highlight of our Paris excursions. We had chosen the small group tour to accommodate my hearing impairment by being able to stand in proximity to the guide as the audio devices do not have bluetooth technology to pair with Cochlear implants. The group was not capped at 15 but 26 visitors in our group. For us it was an expensive tour given the entrance fee to Versailles is 18 euros. The small group advertisement was not true for our experience.

Worst tour guide!

It was the worst tour we have ever experienced. We were just there this December 2022 and it was cold of course. We were left by our tour guide in the cold for almost half an hour. We arrived earlier than the other group of tourists but we ended the second of the last group to get inside. Due to the delay, the tour was rushed and was not even allowed to use the restroom before heading back to Paris. It was a half day tour. The whole experience was just rushed that you cannot enjoy or appreciate. We felt that the tour guide did not care of the tourists experience. It was just a job he had to finish. What a shame! Not worth the money.

Got everything we wanted

The half day tour was perfect for us. You get to see the palace and have about one hour to walk around the gardens. Even though this was a half day, it was very thorough. We got everything we were looking for. Kate is a great tour guide!

Good, but not a small group

Your was good, guide was engaging but it was not the small tour advertised. We were loaded onto a double decker bus with 3 groups. We did split into smaller groups at Versailles but we had about 21 people in the group. It worked fine but not what I was expecting.

This tour was in a great pickup and drop off location. It was organized and on time. We skipped the line when we got to Versailles and had a great tour guide in the palace. We were then given time to roam the gardens freely and also do some shopping. It was the perfect amount of time to explore Versailles and we were back in Paris on time.

I’m not sure the 2pm time should be offered, as 2 hours is simply not enough time to see both the palace and the gardens. I virtually ran through the garden to see most of it. No directions given for the best way to see the garden efficiently. If you don’t have a lot of time in Paris, then do it, it’s better than not seeing Versailles at all.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. Transportation was by bus filled with multiple groups needing different languages. One guide fell and injured herself resulting in a delay entering the palace, so skipping the line to enter didn’t occur. Crowds made it difficult to hear even with vox devices. Despite these issues the palace was impressive and our guide Carine was wonderful.

I specifically book small group tours to avoid the hassle of large groups of people (waiting to get checked in, getting people on buses, etc). This tour by Paris City Vision disappointed. While the guide was great, the small group experience was not. We were loaded on a big bus with the large group. It was a mess getting people checked in. Two people checking in 7 or 8 tours and sending them to big buses. We left late because of the chaos and people not showing up, got in traffic. So the 3 hours allowed was actually only 2 hours and 20 minutes. And, there was no difference between our small group and the big group except for the channel they listed to the guide on. We traveled right along with them the whole time. If you chose this tour by Paris City Vision, save the money and book the large group tour.

I gave it one less star because I think the tour company could’ve made the groups much smaller which wouldn’t make me feel like this tour was overpriced. You are charging $302.00 per couple for a 30minute bus ride from Paris. Our tour guide Clemmons however was worth the money. She was very knowledgeable and kept it cool when one us got snappy with her(really weird lady with long blonde hair) got all snippy out of nowhere, weird! If it’s your first time in France and in Paris and not confident about doing Versaille on your own and have the money spare, then I recommend this tour.

Versailles is truly amazing but so crowded

Unfortunately we went on one of the busiest days of the year so it’s almost impossible to really see or appreciate the inside of this spectacular palace. I lost the tour guide in the huge crowds and was never able to find her again. And the guides do not stop to make sure everybody is still in the group. The audio dropped out so it was not even possible to locate her. The guides are on a mission to get tours through as quickly as possible and tend to give the minimum amount of information for each selected location (not every room) I would recommend that if you want to really understand the rooms hire an audio from the venue and stroll through at your own pace and hear far more than the guides have time to tell. The gardens are spectacular I had to buy another ticket as the guides only hand them out later.

Versailles tour

The bus ride to Versailles was short and comfortable. The guides gave plenty of good introductory information on the ride to Versailles. The groups were not too large and we were able to hear the guide. We did have to wait a little bit to enter the palace but not nearly as long as at the regular non group entrance. The palace was crowded and as such we could not linger long. In addition we did not get nearly enough time to explore the gardens with the half day tour.
