Having a guide that allows you to skip the lines was really helpful. Unfortunately, since it was a cloudy day-having tickets to the summit was not ideal-the higher we went, the less we could see.
An incredible structure and cool history. Totally worth the trip all the way to the top! Hint: Don't get off midway on the way down, you'll wait to get back on.....unless you're up for walking. Found that all Paris sites, even in December are crowded!! I lost my tour group on the elevator ride, and never connected again.
Was really disappointed with the company set up on the day. We arrived at 9:10am for 10:15am booking to be told to call back at 10am. We did to an uncontrolled queue of 20-30 people outside the office, all different nationalities.1 person was serving behind the counter to approx 10-15 people. After half an hour standing in freezing cold and now behind by 15min we were told to wait with others in the back section of shop.Tour eventually started 45 min late and paying tourists left the talk when we eventually got in to tower. Company representative was very knowledgeable but not Identifiable unlike similar companies who wore identity badges or uniforms. I would not pay the Fee paid again, rather buy a ticket on the day, and skipping queues by going early in the morning. Amazed by Eiffel Tower but not by Aviator experience. Over priced and over rated.
With the riots and protest going on we had to walk from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower. Tried an uber but most streets closed. The tour company made us pay another 40 euro for reschedule to 20 min later on a tour. YOU would think they would have accommodated and not charged us due this rioting. I was not impressed at all with this tour company. It was so stressful trying to get through the protests and closed off streets and then to be charged again. I would not recommend using that tour company. The tour guide was knowledgeable and made the tour pleasant.
Client's statement, There was no skipping the line as indicated. After arriving at the guide's location, we had to wait over 45 minutes. We got to skip the first line into the tower property. Then we had to stand in 2 more lines that took an hour each. It would have been better to just buy the tickets online and skip the service. It took us over 4 hours just to get up and back down the tower. Lots of people on the tour were complaining. The tour guide wasn't that great either.
I had used a similar tour package for the Eifel Tower two years ago. I went more smoothly than this one. While this one got us in and the guide was fine, it was a bit chaotic at the office. But they finally got everyone organized and into groups. It is definitely worth having a skip--the-line group to get in and navigate the long lines.
