Amazing day out. Elizabeth our English speaking guide was very good and we had a small group of 13 so quite easy to hear her. The gardens were magnificent as is the Palace. Well worth doing - visual and cultural overload - so glad we did it.

The tour Hyde was great but the crowds were erroneous. Personally the extra money I paid for the fountain show was a waste. No fountain show just some music you could hear from afar.

Versailles is amazing! I would recommend this tour to anyone with a passion for art, architecture, history, or if you're a crazy person who loves crowds, then go for the crowds. We had to go to the ParisCityVision office which is located across from the Louvre museum, near the Joan of Arc statue it's a gold statue, you can't miss it. When I booked this tour, the description just said to meet at Pyramides, central Paris and when I Googled where that was, it came up at the Louvre, because in the courtyard of the Louvre is a big, giant pyramid -what else was I supposed to think? so I think they should be more specific for people like me who are easily confused. But, now I know, and so do you. My sister and I walked a good 30mins from our hotel to their office in the morning that's when I could book, but we were also early, which turned out for the best because we were the first ones in line for our tour and we were on a double-decker bus and we got to go on top, in the front, which was the coolest thing! Seriously, arrive early in case you get that chance! Our bus driver drove past the Arc de Triomphe on the way to Versailles and needless to say, my photos were amazing because of where we were sitting on the bus. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and having been a fan of Marie Antoinette, I had done my share of reading about her life before ever going to Paris, so I knew much of what she was saying and was able to listen to her but also focus more on my surroundings in the Palace. We were given stickers for our English-speaking group, so we knew which to stay in, and our guide had an umbrella with a matching sticker on it, which she held up so we wouldn't get lost. Sadly, Marie Antoinette's chamber was under restoration, so we didn't get to see it, so the tour was over within an hour after arriving. It was cold and rainy the day we went, in October, but it was warm inside the palace so a light jacket may all that's needed for that type of weather. All in all, it was a fantastic tour, and I'd do it all over again!

This was a great tour with a great and knowledge guide. Don't miss doing. I had my 12 year-old niece with me and she loved it too. A great way to explore Versailles. Would do again. Susan and Sasha Malcolm

Worth the money to be able to skip the entrance lines....be prepared for it to be extremely crowded with people who think they are the center of the universe...it was raining when we went to we did not go into the gardens but they looked amazing from inside the Hall of Mirrors...our guide was wonderful...

Can highly recommend this tour. The tour guide welcomed us on the bus and we had a coloured sticker so she knew which group we belonged to Once we got there we split into groups and she explained about the gardens and took us to watch the fountain show. It was wonderful. We had some free time to take photos etc then we met her back at the meeting point and went through the palace. She was very knowledgeable and very interesting. If you havent been to Versailles it really is decedent to say the least.
