We did the half day 4 hour trip and it wasn't long enough! I recommend the morning as it can get crowded VERY quickly throughout the Palace. When we visited the gardens weren't in bloom but the palace itself takes an entire day to see.
The morning tour was perfect for what I had planned that day. We were back in Paris before 1pm and that gave me plenty of time to see the Army Museum and parts of the Le Jardin des Tuilerie that I missed the day before.
Just perfect. The morning trip was ideal for me as I had plans to see the another landmark. The bus ride was less than 1 hr and we got there before many of the other tour buses which gave us plenty of time to tour the place. We were back in Paris by noon and still had the rest of the day for other sites. If you want to see the garden and spend more time there, this tour would not be enough time, but perfect for viewing the palace.
This was a perfect day.
The start was delayed due to a strike but the guide kept us informed. The palace and garden is a must see
Very good, but too short, we decided to stay longer. Versailles is amazing, must do!
We left Paris on time. Our guide is really efficient and see us through until the bag-scanning area. This is must trip for everyone traveling to Paris. The chateu is really awesome... be fascinated.

Well worth a visit. A good idea to spend the day there, unfortunately we did not have the time!
Very accommodating to our needs and answering all our questions. It was a self guided tour so we were on our own. We did the 8am tour and very happy we did because the 12 noon looked very crowded. We went mid July.
