A group of 6, a small bus to take us from Paris to Versailles and back. An informative, friendly and charming guide, Lucille, and a total of five hours. Perfect.
Having been to Versailles a few times many years ago, we had never been to Marie-Antoinette's Petit Trianon and the Hamlet. What a delight - and in some ways more interesting than the main Palace itself.
A solo visit to the Trianon and Hamlet would have involved a lot of walking, from what we could see of many people trudging along the road from the Palace. This tour took us by bus as far as was possible, and picked us up at the exit of the Hamlet, avoiding an even longer walk back. We made this visit first, and then went to Versailles Palace itself. It was so good to skip the line and have Lucille show us through the rooms, with her interesting commentary through ear-pieces. After this we had about 45 minutes to explore the gardens. This was not a cheap tour, but it was worth it, and we would recommend it.
This tour was fantastic. Our guide Michelle was first rate. She was very knowledgeable and fun. Because we were there in August Versailles was crowded but Michelle helped make it great. Would highly recommend this tour

Teriffic tour and a good use of limited time in Paris if you want to include a visti to Versailles. You avoid the long lines to get into the palace, and the hassel of getting out to Versailles from the city. We went on a Saturday afternoon, so we were also able to enjoy the gardens with the fountains in full operation. Our tour guide was great and including our kids, age 6 and 10, and was able to share lots of history and detail. A great way to get to and from Versailles.

Best trip and best tour guide, thank you Ariane. At the time of the tour I was injured and on crutches and she and tour office made every effort not only to help me but also to make sure I enjoyed everything. This tour I would do again on my next trip, it was that good. The Petit Trianon grounds are stunning. Worth every penny.
It was an excellent tour. The only recommendation is that our tour guide should have carried something to hold above her head so we could find her. It was very, very crowded and sometimes it was difficult to figure out where she was even though we could hear her with the headphones.

If you can take this tour with Maeva as your guide, go for it. She was the best. Smiling, enthusiastic, and clearly loved her profession. Versailles was impressive, but extremely crowded. Maeva would pull us over to a semi-quiet corner and tell us about what we were seeing. The crowds were a bit much, but if you have a good guide, it's worth seeing, if only once.
Bravo! Been on many tours in my life; this one was small, attentive, comfortable and knowledgable! I loved the fact that I could have the wind in my hair and an unobstructed view all the way the the castle. That was not the best part however, but our guide Maeva was! Energetic, friendly and smart!
This was a beautiful place to see. Wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking a whole lot. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and she allowed some time to explore on your own as well. You can take pictures inside which was a major perk.
Excellent tour! A guide through this highly popular attraction is highly recommended. Our guide pointed out many things of interest that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Her knowledge of the history of the building and the town was extensive.
Thank you for our fabulous tour. Marie-Antoinette's Petit Trianon was a real experience. What an amazing spot. I highly recommend adding this tour when visiting Versailles.
Fantastic tour organisers! We were running late as there was a breakdown on the Metro line we needed to get on, so we missed the bus. The tour company was lovely enough to drive us to Versailles separately to join the tour group. Great time in Versailles too!
Wonderful excursion very informative guide. Loved Marie Antoinette's little village.
Our tour guide was great. We wish we had more time to explore the garden, but that was due to the fact that there was a long wait to get into the entrance. Otherwise, everything was great.
The Versailles Palace is gorgeous. Our tour guide was great. It was so interesting to learn the history about the palace. Be sure to visit the beautiful gardens and fountains as well. So pretty. We really enjoyed our tour.
Our guide was wonderful, full of information and very accommodating to us. You could tell she enjoyed her job!
This was one of the best tours we attended while in France. We could have not asked for a better tour guide. As promised we were able to skip the lines and with our guides knowledge and experience, stayed apart from the thousands of tourists. A most pleasant experience. We will definitely use Viator again.
Tour guide was very knowledgable and spoke great English. She answered a lot of questions but kept the tour moving. Versailles is a not to be missed location if you are in or near Paris.
Maeva was a fantastic tour guide. She is as fun as she is up on her history of France. The palace and gardens were amazing. After seeing that place, you can see why the revolution happened.
We love this tour. Only six of us and our guide Roseanne was very gentle and patient with us and managed to keep us together and provide valuable insights and information. We loved the small group experience after several days of large group experiences.
Excellent tour. I loved seeing the Petite Trianon, it's really quite beautiful. This psrt of the trip was not guided, but really did not need to be. Once we got to Versailles we received a guided which was great! Maeve, who was our guide for the whole trip was fun, funny and made sure we had a good time. She was also very knowledgeable. We had a really good time and saw many wonderful things.
Absolutely stunning, very informative tour with an amazing guide I can't recall her name but she was a beautiful African American young lady.
Great tour as our Guide was able to provide many small vignettes and insights into the people that were actually using such an ornate and over the top Palace. Taste surely varied amongst the Nobles. Magnificent displays of Creativity and craftsmanship unfortunately not so readily apparent today as we are all to often the victims of time and time managers.
A must see as I first saw Versailles 25 years ago, and still as fascinating as I imagine it was hundreds of years ago only more so then rather than now.
