Great experience. Got to know an great group of people on the tour and during lunch. Bypassing the long lines allowed us more time and the behind the scenes tour was definitely worth it.
Awesome guide and day at the Castle. Highly recommend this to all!
Excellent tour. Our guide was wonderful. He whisked us up into the Hall of Mirrors so we would get there early. When our group arrived there were only 2 other people there. Perfect! We came back later by ourselves and it was very busy. He was incredibly well informed, a true enthusiast and very French, which all added to the experience. We visited in December so I wasn't sure we really needed 3 hours int he gardens, it turned out that 4 hours would have been better! This is the wa to see Versailles.
Our tour guides were absolutely amazing..! Loved this trip! Worth every cent, highly recommended.
Fantastic! What a place, what a story. But it wouldn't have been that outstanding without the history behind this beautiful castle. So much history, so wonderfully told. Can't say enough about our viator tour to Versailles...professional through out , right on time, knowledgeable, very experienced, even accomodated us with a different, closer drop-off point for our way to our home. Highly recommend this tour.
Beautiful Versailles. How lucky were we , the sun shone and there was just us on the tour , heaven .
Great experience with small group that allow us to skip the Q and also private viewing of the Royal Quarters.
This is an amazing tour!!!!!!! The price is well worth the money. Our driver out to Versailles was fantastic. She was able to tell us a lot about the palace before we arrived. We had a light breakfast at a small cafe across the street which was a great way to start the day. This tour enables you to see areas of the palace that are not open to the public. Our tour guide was VERY knowledgable about Versailles and she was very happy to field questions along the way. After the tour, we were given three hours to roam the gardens. We thought that seemed like a long time, but there is so much to see outside of the palace. If you are even thinking about this tour DO IT!!!!!!!!!
Tour was fantastic. Pickup place looked a little seedy. no water as advertised Private tour is the only way to go. Crowds at the palace are overwhelming and the looks on their faces when our group was escorted through locked doors was priceless. We went to completely empty rooms no tourists
It was an amazing trip and the guide was fantastic. We loved every minute of it.
One of the best tours I have been on. Both the tour guide and the local guide were amazing. Loved that we could get into rooms not available to the general public. Easy access to Versailles without the lines. Best way to visit Versailles.
Greats day at Versailles! Rent the golf carts and tour the gardens our other homes in the property! The tour guide got us into areas not accessible to the general public which made it special!
This behind the scenes tour is worth every penny! Got to see parts of the Palace not open to the public. The narration offered by our guide offered unique insight into the history of the Palace as well as it's component parts that really added to the overall experience. Unforgettable.
This is a must see, and tour. Without our guide we would have missed so much. They know where to go, and how to do it, to miss the crowds! And, it is crowded! So very beautiful!
Very nice, even the driver had a good historical knowledge of versailles.

Private room viewing was wonderful. Being out of the crowd with special access and routes made the visit more enjoyable. Was astonished by by the crowd when we left the tour, so this is the tour to take. Having a private driver from Paris made travel so easy. Lunch in the garden under the canopy of trees was cool, relaxing, and the food was good.
Excellent tour. Guides were very knowledgeable and approachable. Highly recommend.
This tour was well worth the additional expense. We saw numerous rooms that were otherwise not available to tourists. Our group of 16 were the only ones in these rooms when visiting them, making the tour live up to the private tour advertising a highly significant advantage in such a popular attraction. The docent who led the tour was remarkably knowledgeable about French history, able to answer questions about the intricacies of the French monarchy and society. The tour of the chateau began with gaining admission through a side door and away from the masses congregated at the gates. Following the tour, we enjoyed the gardens and, especially, the fountain displays coordinated with classical music. Be certain to select the day you go carefully if you wish to witness those displays, since they are offered only select days during the week. This was one of the best things we did during our Paris trip, even if it was the most expensive. It was a great value.
Fascinating, interesting! Tour guide was excellent. The small group and the private viewing of the Royal Quarters made it extra special and easier being away from the crowds. Next time I would stay overnight in Versailles to have more time.
Loved it. Had a great commentary to and from the site. Versailles was fabulous. It met my expectations.
This tour was great from beginning to end. The trip in the bus to Versailles was easy and we immediately stepped into a coffee shop for coffee and croissants. They even had hot chocolate for my 11 year old son. Then it was off to Versailles. Our tour guide from Versailles, Ann, kept us moving and provided just the right amount of information. She took us to places that others not in a guided tour didn't get to go to. We didn't have to wait in lines either. After the tour, we had a few hours to roam the beautiful gardens and have a nice lunch. This tour was worth the cost in terms of what we were able to see, the great guides and no lines. I highly recommend the tour. It was one of the highlights of our vacation.
Great tour! We were a small group of six so it was even better. We had a nice driver/guide who brought us to Versailles and turned us over to a really wonderful guide who shared his knowledge of the palace and France's history with us.
This tour was fabulous -- being able to see many rooms that are not open to the general public royal quarters, the opera, the chapel -- which can only be seen by the general public from behind a rope, while we were able to walk thru the chapel, up to the altar, etc. My only complaint was that it wasn't long enough -- I'd have liked to spent the entire day there, versus only a half day.
