See Philadelphia’s historic landmarks and sites while sipping your own beer or wine and hearing little-known facts from a guide. This sightseeing tour by trolley takes the stress off finding a designated driver for exploring as you see tops sights such City Hall, Love Park, Boathouse Row, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross’ House, and the Declaration House. Drinks are BYOB.
I apologize. Our a/c unit broke down and we were not able to acquire the parts needed to fix it in time for your tour. We stocked our cooler with ice water for our guests to try to combat the heat but I agree it was a particularly hot day. Sorry again but I’m glad you enjoyed the tour otherwise.
We booked this as sort of a time killer while in Philly for a Bachelor party but actually ended up being one of the funnest things we did. Tour guide is fantastic and has some spot on comedy. Will definitely be recommending these guys to whoever makes a trip. (Even though we got made fun of about our matching Phillies t-shirts)
This was a good tour that i would recommend for those interested in history and a little booze. The tour guide mixed in some comedy, which was pretty funny at times. It was worth the money to see the city in a trolly and have a few drinks on the road.
We booked for a surprisingly cool Sept. 1st trolley ride. It is an enclosed trolley with windows that go up and down which was key to staying dry. Tim was the best, most animated tour guide with a heart of gold. We were the outliers, being 40 years older than the average but he included us in his routine. The history lesson was amazing, I wish he had a handout to read at a later time. The fun facts about Ben Franklineverybody drink, and the city of love were also great. The busdriver super sober and a 5 star driver, he had to reroute the trip due to the parkway being closed, made me feel like I could relax and have a good time. We walked to Campos for 5 cheese steaks.
Had a wonderful time seeing Philadelphia on this informative and very entertaining tour. Tim was incredible!
I was disappointed that some of the places we were looking forward to seeing weren't available, especially the Rocky statue.
I really enjoyed this tour. I found them on TripAdvisor and was impressed with the ratings so I talked my friend into going on the tour. We arrived 15 minutes before the tour was set to take off in Old Town, only to be told that we were the only people who had signed up for the Saturday afternoon tour. They offered to give us the tour if we still wanted it -- and this being the only day that we had available in town, we went for it. SO GLAD we did!! We either drove by or stopped at all the touristy points of interest in Philly including City Hall, the Rocky Steps at the Museum of Art, drove by Constitution hall twice and plenty of other interesting places.
I would highly recommend this highly entertaining and energetic tour! I will also mention we went on the tour on what was probably the hottest day of the summer in the middle of the afternoon not ideal conditions for the a/c-less trolley tour... but they were so nice to offer an endless supply of cold water bottles throughout the tour.
As it turned out, only the two of us had booked the tour, but that didn't stop them from offering to take us out on our own personal tour. We had a great time, and loved the personal touch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was one of the best tours I've ever taken. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.
