This tour was very good. The best part was the stop at the Rocky statue where we ran up the steps. The city of Philadelphia looks great at night and the tour did a good job at showing us the historical sites.
Shortly before our bus was due to leave there was a torrential rain shower that lasted around 25 minutes, so everyone on the upper deck quickly moved downstairs as the rain was so heavy. The tour guide and driver delayed the departure of the bus as the rain was easing, and once it had stopped they went to a local take-away shop to get kitchen towels so everyone could wipe the seats upstairs, which was really good of them.
Once underway, the guide (who's name I can't remember) was entertaining and provided useful information about the city.
Despite the late start, we still had the full tour and didn't feel it had been cut short.
I enjoyed the tour and sights, it was a great way to get the most of my business trip. The bus was clean, the commentary was both informative, light-hearted . There is one stop on the famous "rocky steps" and you get to see the skyline by night
If the weather is undesirable, or if a guest is disabled and can't climb stairs to the top (open) area, the downstairs, interior windows are covered with advertising. You can still hear the tour but are unable to see out. The guide was good and the tour would be great as long as you are OK with climbing stairs and being seated outdoors while winding through the city.
My co-worker and I did this tour while in town for a conference. It was a beautiful night in a great city. Our guide was very informative and funny. Would definitely suggest this for anyone visiting Philly!!
