Great sites, not so great ride
Shalonda_H, May 2022
The tour guide Jonnette was wonderful. She provided a lot of history. The tour bus driver, Aldo, bullied passengers into giving tips. I always tip, but observed him follow a passenger to his car and confronted him. He was very abrasive and the ride back was horrifying. He drove too fast and didn't have control of the van, mocked other drivers on the road. While he may not represent all Detour drivers, I'm hesitant to ride with Detour again. Again, my tour guide was wonderful. The canyons were beautiful.

Thank you for coming out to Antelope Canyon with us. Our drivers often have to contend with major wind storms on the route between Phoenix and Page, approximately 280 miles, one way. If you have any specific feedback about our tour guide's communications with other guests, besides parts of an overheard conversation, I look forward to learning how we can improve the tour experience, and the performance of our guide team. The guide was informative and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour. Every natural wonder was amazing. The small little restaurant we stopped and had lunch at was delicious.

Simply the BEST

The private Anrelope Canyon Day trip was worth the time and money. I must admit, I was a little nervous about the long trip from Phoenix to Page, AZ. Mark, our driver and guide made the trip so fun. We learned lots about the places we were driving though and general Arizona history and triva facts. Mark and the folks at Detours made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. I wholly recommend this trip and ask for Mark as your guide. We also learned that they do custom private tours and I am planning one in Utah. If you are on the fence about this tour, just do it!!
Great tour with long drive service
Mitsunori_S, May 2022
It was a long tour. As I stayed in Phenix and would like to avoid long driving, it was a convenient tour to visit the beautiful Antelope.
AMAZED by the Scenery on this Tour

Jennifer was great during the travel, she is a great driver and very informative when it came to the areas we were passing by. Horseshoe area could it have been an hour instead of 45 mts as it felt with the heat at the same time, time went quick. I walk fast but it another 15 mts would make a big difference. Horseshoe stop was awesome. Regarding the Canyon Antolope, OMG is a must, the area is stunning but can get crowed, if you driving straight there, get there early. If you ever in UTAH or anywhere around this section the trip is shorter. This is located in the town of Page. I was picked up from Scottsdale which the trip was longer but worth it, i was prepared for it. Hopefully this information helps someone. I had a great experience on that day. :-)

Well organised and worth a trip. Diane from Detours was a great guide and driver. Marquetta was our Dixie lower antelope canyon guide and she was very helpful with pictures and information.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with DETOURS. Antelope Canyon can be quite the elusive bucket list item, so it is always a good day when we can take a group out to that beautiful landmark. Hope to see you again soon! Until then, Nathan DETOURS
What an experience
Kieona_J, Aug 2022
The service provider was awesome hands down. The tour guide derrick was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Even when we got to Antelope canyon that tour guide was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a breathe-taking experience that I would personally tell anyone to go see. I mean pictures are one thing but to see it in person is another feeling. I enjoyed all of it through and through. Thank you detour Arizona. And Navajo tribe for allowing us to come on you all reserve land.

Fantastic trip from start to finish, really knowledgeable guide and a fab and varied bunch with which to share the experience.Would be a five star review but we had to walk about a mile to and from the pick up point. At 4am that was a little daunting in Downtown Phoenix.
