What You Can Expect

Small-Group Tour: Deluxe Phoenix and Scottsdale Day Trip

Chase Field -- Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks

After pickup from your Phoenix or Scottsdale hotel, travel in a climate-controlled van for a comprehensive small-group tour of the regional highlights.

Drive through the picturesque landscape of the Sonoran Desert as you wind your way up to South Mountain Park, which spans more than 17 miles (27 km), making it the largest municipal park in the United States. In the district, you also visit The Farm, a gorgeous 10-acre estate that dates back to the 1920s.

As you drive along the downtown Phoenix corridor, check out the skyscrapers and sports stadiums for the Phoenix Suns (basketball) and the Arizona Diamondbacks (baseball). Passing by the Arizona State Capitol building, hear about its history since its construction in 1898, which helped pave the way for Arizona's transition from territory to statehood.

See another Phoenix architectural gem, the Arizona Biltmore, known as the 'Jewel of the Desert.' Designed by prominent American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the Arizona Biltmore has hosted many heads of state, celebrities and dignitaries since it opened in 1929.

Head to Scottsdale’s Old Town to experience 'The West's Most Western Town.' Peruse the galleries and have time to pick up souvenirs if you like.

At the end of the 5.5-hour tour, you are returned to your hotel.

Hard to imagine a tour leader as professional, knowledgeable and charming as Jo Jo. He was a fountain of information and always made time for questions and answers. I'm certain you already know what an asset he is to the company.

This was a great way to sport an overview of the area in a very comfortable setting with someone else doing the driving. Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly and an excellent driver. We learned so much more than expected and hit to ask other questions about the area and attractions. Highly recommend!

I just wrote a whole review and submitted but it disappeared! UGH, well i'll sum it up again. This tour was amazing. I was only spending about 1.5 days in Phoenix and would not have seen a quarter of what we did on this tour if i hadn't booked it. The tour guide Dan was knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic. We saw so many different things and learned the history of the city. Well worth the money and definitely recommend for first-time visitors to phoenix.
