What You Can Expect

Phi Phi Island Adventure Day Trip by Speedboat from Phuket with Lunch

Bamboo Island

Begin with hotel pickup in Phuket, and travel to the marina. Meet your guide and board a speedboat for your cruise to the Phi Phi Islands, a chain of six exquisite islands in the Andaman Sea.

Admire the views along the way, and after roughly an hour, marvel at the sight of the beautiful islands rearing like fortresses from the turquoise seas.

Head for Mosquito Island, renowned for its pristine waters and reefs, and enjoy an optional snorkel to discover the stunning coral gardens.

Then, cruise to the white beaches of Bamboo Island. Go ashore for a delicious buffet lunch at an island hotel, and enjoy free time to relax on the beach and swim.

Next, sail to Koh Phi Phi Don, the largest island, and visit Monkey Bay, named after its macaques. Watch them scampering in the sands and trees, and be cautious while observing the wild monkeys in their natural habitat.

Continue to Maya Bay, immortalized in the 2000 movie The Beach, starring Leonardo di Caprio. Admire the paradise-like scenery, and swim in jade-green Pileh Lagoon, a natural lagoon framed by sheer cliffs.

Lastly, cruise back to Phuket and end your trip with a hotel drop-off.

I was on boat number 9 and the staff and crew members were amazing. I don't remember their names but it was simply an amazing day. We had very rough water but they made accommodations for us so we could see 4-5 islands of the Phi Phi islands. This is a must.

Amazing!! This was the most beautiful place I have ever seen, definitely book this tour. The guides are just amazing and very helpful. When I arrived to the marina they had complimentary breakfast, drinks, fresh fruit and other snacks all day for us. The guides did not rush us on the islands and gave us additional snorkeling time off the boat in deep waters. It was absolutely breath taking!! Don't miss this trip, book now!

The tour was great! No hiccups on the transfer to the Marina. We were separated into predetermined groups at the Marina based on language. There were 4 groups of about 25-30 going on separate boats. The places we went were crowded, but not too bad. Mac was our tour guide and with him you can pay about 50 CAD extra and he will also be your photographer for the day as well as tour guide. It was very much worth the price. IF you care much about getting photos and video, this way you don't have to worry about it and just enjoy.

This was an amazing trip, and probably the best thing I did while I was in Phuket! We were blessed with mostly beautiful weather the entire day, and the beaches were surprisingly not terribly crowded. Every location/beach we went to was breathtakingly beautiful, and the crew did a great job to ensure you have lots of photo worthy opps. The only drawback was going to the Island for lunch where we were in a cafeteria style buffet in a hotel. The food was okay, definitely nothing stellar, but are you really taking this trip for the food or the scenery? Also, I highly recommend that when you get to the island for lunch, take your shoes if the crew has your shoes out for you to take! The crew will say you don't need your shoes, but trust me, take your shoes, otherwise you will be stepping into the cafeteria, bathroom, and everywhere else on the beach barefooted getting dirt, food, and bathroom germs on your feet. Also, FYI, if you have back problems, then you will probably want to sit in the back of the speedboat, and not the front. Finally, because the water is gorgeous at pretty much every location we went to, DO purchase a waterproof case for your phone so you can take those awesome pics and videos while in said gorgeous water! I purchased mine from the little shop before boarding the boat, and it was the best 19 bucks I could have spent though I'm sure you could've gotten one cheaper via Amazon or something.

We loved the tour. It was very professionally organized from beginning to the end, the facilities at the marina were very nice, we felt very safe in the boat and at the islands thanks to the crew, and our guide, Mac, was great. The snorkeling was surprisingly good, with clear waters and lots of fish facilities at the restaurant were good, but lunch was only OK with long lines at times we spent only a little time to see a few monkeys from the boat, which was nice but I was expecting to see them close but we understood the environmental reasons for doing so. Maya beach looks amazing, but very crowded. In a summary, a great day out.

Had a great experience with this tour company. Missed Bamboo island due to weather and wave conditions safety, but did not impact the excursion. Crew was agile enough to offer alternative options to guests to ensure we were able to see most of the popular islands of the Andaman Sea. In the end, I would have hoped to be offered more time on Phi Phi Island only 50 minutes. I guess a recommendation for the tour company to better enhance the experience would be to get rid of the last island offered on itinerary Ko Rai Yang, which was less than pleasing to the eye or feet coarse and sea shell full sand and offer more time at Koh Phi Phi Lee island post card worthy beach of Thailand.

Great value for the price at 88 a person! The first beach Bamboo Island was awesome. Personally, we wished we had more time there instead of Maya Bay which was SO overcrowded, but a pretty amazing photo-op. The waters were really rocky on the day we went full moon! but it always felt like the crew was in control and were looking out for our safety. We actually ended up snorkeling in a different area than normal because of the waves - but it was still great with lots of fish. They provided beverages and little snacks throughout the day which was nice. Lunch wasn't anything to write home about, but totally fine. We only wished that we were given our sandals back before lunch. It felt a little yucky to be walking around the cafeteria barefoot. Overall though, a really enjoyable way to see multiple areas around Phi Phi in one day for a really good price.

Great trip but keep in mind the islands are 30 miles out in the Andaman Sea so a full hour of high speed boating each way. We actually enjoyed the ride as it is picturesque and quite safe.
The islands are beautiful and we visited four of them. Plenty of beach time as well as excellent snorkeling from the beach and off the boat. We are seasoned travelers and can be quite critical if we dont like a tour. This one ticked all the boxes and is a must do if vacationing in Phuket.
