What You Can Expect

Phi Phi Island Morning or Sunrise Trip from Phuket

Bamboo Island

One of the most famously beautiful locations in Thailand, Phi Phi Island has become a must-see destination for visitors since its captivating beaches, lagoons and cliffs were featured as a hidden paradise in the 2000 film The Beach. Your full-day island adventure begins with pickup at your Phuket hotel in the morning and an approximately 1.5-hour ride to the island. Departing early allows you to avoid the afternoon crowds for a more relaxed day of exploration.

On the island of Phi Phi Leh, visit the natural swimming pool of Pileh Lagoon during low tide for a refreshing dip. At Loh Samah Bay, crawl through a hole in the limestone rock wall to reach stunning Maya Beach, a lagoon surrounded on three sides by 328-foot (100-meter) cliffs. Swim or snorkel in the warm, clear waters with provided equipment and explore underwater coral formations and marine life. Peer into the entrance of Viking Cave, where you can spy a large colony of native swift birds, and get a close encounter with the wild residents of Monkey Beach.

Midday, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on board before cruising to Bamboo Island, a flat evergreen escape where you can relax on the silky white sand or swim in the magnificent blue waters. Continue snorkeling then soak up the sun and sights on the return boat trip to Phuket, where the tour concludes with hotel drop-off in the afternoon.

Our tour guide, Tuk, was amazing! He was funny yet insightful and made the whole trip so much fun! I enjoyed every aspect of this trip. Only thing is I wish I'd gotten on the boat earlier so I could've sat in the front with the sunshine! It was really nice that they had drinks and snacks on board for us and the boat driver was able to fit the boat into nonexistent spaces on the islands. I especially enjoyed snorkeling and seeing the monkeys! Thanks for a great trip!

Our tour was just perfect. Went smoothly. The islands were beautiful and they make it early so that you get to take pictures in the islands without all the 198383838 tourists. I would highly recommend.

A great Tour and the views are stunning! Was disappointed though when our early morning speed boat tour got cancelled and we were shifted into a bigger and full booked tour boat last minute. This happened cause other people changed their mind last minute we when arrived at the Marina. We thought it would have been fair to continue on as planned, and not put the rest of us who paid for a smaller more spacious trip into a full packed one. However, the water and the islands you get to see are gorgeous, and is one of the biggest highlights of our trip!

We were picked up on time from our hotel at 5.15 am with a friendly driver and a quick transfer to the Marina. The tour guide was great in briefing everyone and getting everyone onto the boat. Unfortunately there were mechanical issues with the boat on the day we went on the trip which meant we were delayed getting to Phi Phi Leh. The guys were great in trying to make good for this and keeping everyone happy with free drinks at the mid morning buffet. The islands are EXTREMELY crowded with all the tourists and so the earlier you can get there, the better. We loved the snorkeling but there were a couple of people for whom it was a little rough given the weather conditions so if you are not confident in the water worth going at a time of year when its calm weather. It was a good tour overall, though there seem to be better bigger and wider boats out there that can handle the conditions when there is a bit of chop on the crossing which takes about an hour and a couple of people did get sea sick. Worth a visit for sure.
