What You Can Expect

James Bond Island by VIP Speedboat from Phuket

Hello

Meet your guide at your hotel and head to Liam Seng Pier, where you’ll be treated to tea, coffee or juice, before setting out on your James Bond Island adventure. Then, climb aboard your VIP speedboat, with space for up to 25 people, and set sail across Phang Nga Bay.

Glide past the dramatic cliffs of Koh Panak en route to Hong Island, then switch to a canoe to explore the island’s limestone caves, rock formations and hidden lagoons.

Back on the boat, continue to Khao Ping Kan, better known as James Bond Island, where the highlight is the 66-foot-tall (20-meter) rock looming out of the sea, made famous in the 1974 movie The Man with the Golden Gun. Pose for photos in front of the rock before heading to Koh Panyee for lunch.

Tuck into a delicious buffet lunch (with vegetarian options available) at the Panyee restaurant, then take time to explore the unique village, an Indonesian settlement located on a floating island. With your appetite sated, set out on an exhilarating hike to the Ice Cream Cave and indulge your adventurous side as you explore the underground passageways and search for the ice-cream shaped stalactite after which the cave was named.

Finally, stop at Naka Island and enjoy free time to swim, snorkel and sunbathe at the island’s sandy beaches, or perhaps hire a Jet Ski or banana boat (own expense) to zip along the shore.

After a thrilling day at sea, hop back on the boat and cruise back to shore, where your tour ends with drop off at your hotel.

One of those things you must do if you are in Thailand. The speedboat really motors along and the crew constantly has snacks and soft drinks for the guests. The raft part is superb and gets you into all the nooks and crannies. Good fun as well. James Bond Island is busy as expected but you forget about that and get caught up in the magic that the island holds. It still looks the same as when it was featured in the movie.

This tour was excellent! A must do when in Thailand! It is a bit of a long day and I can see why some say they wish they had more time at some of the spots but if you want to see it all and are on limited time, this tour is perfect. Many of the places you visit are a little crowded as well but that's to be expected. The food was good and the guides were great. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was exactly as advertised. From the pick up at the hotel, to tea and coffee on arrival, to the kayaking, views of James Bond Island and the lunch at the fishing village, even offered us coconuts upon our return. Would highly recommend. Our guide Don was funny and polite. Great Trip.

We really enjoyed this activity. It was well organized and the staff were extremely friendly. The ratio of participants to the size of the boat was excellent. The boat was spacious enough to accommodate everyone. We enjoyed the snacks provided while riding on the speed from point to point and the lunch provided was very good. They provided a camera/video staff member which was an added bonus even if you brought your own camera equipment. If you wanted to, you were able to purchase his set of videos/pictures as a souvenir in the end. The stops we made throughout the tour were amazing. We loved the kayak into the caves...it was breathtaking. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Phuket.

This trip was really good and worth the money. Very well organised and the staff were very helpfull. Lunch was ok,didn't need that much time allocated for the markets behind.

This was a great tour, once we got there. We had hotel pick up and were the first ones, so with all the other stops we were in the shuttle for almost 2 hours. This was never conveyed to us which would have been nice. Once on the boat, things ran smoothly. Recommend this tour because someone else paddles you in the canoe to see the sites and lagoons of Hong Island. We would have missed many great photo opportunities if we had been paddling ourselves. Another nice piece of this tour...we only had 18 people on our boat which is nice for seeing sites while on the boat and for getting on and off.
