If you’re looking for a more inclusive experience this is the tour to book, I waited to go thru my other tours to leave my reviews bc I didn’t want to come off as biased but this tour truly blew every other out of the water. It was a short drive from our hotel where they served us a quick breakfast and then we left the pier for about an hour drive on the boat to our first stop. We island hopped and snorkeled in lowkey spots where we were the only “tourists” not to mention we were a smaller group as it is. If you ask me this already makes the trip more enjoyable- they served a delicious Thai lunch, we had a lot of relaxing time on the beach and we moved at a fast pace. Kong was our tour guide and he was good at making the best experience for us- we got back to the pier at a fair time which gave the rest of the day for whatever you still had the energy for lol- highly recommend this tour
I went on this tour on Feb 13th and my only complaint is this tour is that it is falsely advertised. It is listed as a small group tour...and I was on a boat with 36 people. I compared this tour to a similar sunrise tour on Viator that was less expensive and I paid the extra money just so I could be a small group. The Phi Phi islands are very popular and I've read many stories of vessels with a lot of people and I knew I did not want to experience that. Again, the tour was excellent and there was enough space for everyone on board...however, it is not what I paid a premium for.
Amazing, well organized tour. Beautiful sunrise. Multiple stops, with ample time to explore. Indy, our guide, and his crew were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Snacks-plentiful. Buffet lunch was okay, but the location was beautiful. We were not able to get off of the boat at Monkey Beach, which I was anticipating but the overall tour was amazing so that didn't matter as much. highly recommended.
This was a good tour despite horrible conditions for the day. We were picked up right on time at our hotel around 4:45am and taken right away to the Royal Phuket Marina. From Patong, it was a 45-60 minute ride. There was bread, butter, jam, coffee, and cookies available for breakfast. After eating, we grabbed some snorkel fins and towels, which we were glad they provided. The boat fits around 33 passengers, but it wasn't overcrowded it felt pretty comfortable. The spots that The Beach the boating company picked out were stunning beautiful. My husband and I loved going to Maya Bay so early in the morning around 7:30am because it meant it wasn't flooded with people. We spent about an hour there before moving on to the next location for the tour. We really enjoyed seeing Monkey Beach, and thought it was hysterical when a monkey jumped on our boat to steal some food and soda! We weren't able to see Bamboo Island because the waves were so big, but the captain took us to another beach location that were easier to get to and had smaller waves.
The conditions that day really detracted from the experience for me. Although it was warm and sunny, the waves were about 6m that day and really rocked the boat around. If I had known that the boat would be flying in the air because the waves were so large, I would have forfeited the money I spent and not have gone. It was really scary and I am slightly surprised that the company didn't cancel the tour for that day I heard that other boat companies did. What made me feel better though, is we had a really experienced captain who handled the waves really well. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and made me feel better about everything. They regularly checked up on people to make sure they were not getting sea sick and gave extra towels to those sitting in the back of the boat who were getting wet. Overall, this was a very good tour and I would recommend it to you I just hope you have better conditions than we did!!
This was one of the highlights of our trip. The beaches were just gorgeous. The tour operators were kind and entertaining. If you have a choice of getting a box breakfast from your resort, do it. The breakfast provided will not be filling. The lunch was decent. Water, soda and snacks are provided throughout the day due the length of the excursion and the heat...
Just like other reviews, this tour is outstanding and boat personnel are outstanding as well. The Buffet Lunch is served at a Restaurant
and is very good. Other tour skip on their lunch and serve it on the Beach which is not that pleasant. I highly recommend you purchase the DVD which is outstanding, and you will be glad you got it once you see it, and have fond memory of this tour. The cost of the DVD is 37 on a charge card. The fact that you leave
early avoids some of the crowds. You will get your money worth on this tour. The tour picks you up at your Hotel around 5 AM and you return to your hotel close to 4PM.
We visited some lovely places. But removal of shoes very dangerous in wet weather due to the steps and shiny tiles at the restaurant. The trip home was hopefully a once in a lifetime experience. The scariest boat trip you would ever want to take through a huge storm but we got back safely
