What You Can Expect

Playa del Carmen Combo Tour: Off-Road Buggy, Aerial Bridges and Zipline Adventure

Walk on aerial bridges during your tour

Depart from your Playa del Carmen hotel in a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan and begin your adrenaline-fuelled adventure in Selvetica. The quality of the ecological park was recently recognized with a coveted World Travel Award for the best adventure park in Mexico, and you’re sure to see why.

On arrival, head straight to the park’s base camp to greet your experienced instructor and receive a detailed safety briefing. Ease yourself into your protective harness and feel your pulse race as you ascend to the first jungle platform with your guide. Clip on and propel yourself down the steel cable, absorbing panoramic vistas of the Yucatan jungle as you soar.

Feel adrenaline flood your body as you race along eight of the fastest zip lines ever built; try alternative positions as your courage mounts, testing out standing upside down and lying on your front as you glide.

The thrills continue to come as you venture to seven aerial bridges suspended high above the ground; precariously walk over each rickety bridge, making sure you muster all of your courage to make it to the other side.

Return to land in order to climb aboard a powerful army truck and travel to your modern and magnificent Polaris Ranger RZR. Take control of the vehicle then drive deep into the heart of the jungle to a secluded cenote. Gaze down at the sparkling emerald waters then descend into the subterranean sinkhole for a refreshing swim before returning to your state-of-the-art machine.

Once at base camp, freshen up in the changing rooms then enjoy a hearty and wholesome lunch under the shade of a palapa. Purchase action shots of your adventurous antics before relaxing on the ride back to Playa del Carmen.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended March 2016

Even 60 year olds had a blast!! We did this combo tour on 3 March and felt it was one of the highlights of a great week in Mexico. The staff was excellent and safety was a top priority. We including my wife who had had a hip replacement did 8 zip lines, several rickety bridges, a dune buggy through mud trails and a jump into a spring pool. The best by far was the dune buggy - they have so much power and their suspension handle all aspects of the rough muddy road. We were in a line of about 8 cars. We took a camera in a zip lock baggy and would take pics every so often when we would stop. SUGGESTION: wear only clothes and shoes you do not mind getting really dirty as my friend ended up throwing his hat out and repeatedly washing his sneakers. I HIGHLY recommend choosing the dune-buggy over the ATVs. ATVers did not have the same great experience we did! Also, we ordered their book and were glad we did despite the price 84. We were able to choose the best 27 pics of us from over 100. Again, a great tour!
