This was a great trip, just offering what we needed. Early pick up to miss the crowds and heat of the day, knowledgable guide and some free time. Only criticism is we were left waiting for a while between transfers making us arrive to Tulum later than planned. This was apparently due to heavy rain.
This tour was absolutely fantastic being able to tour without any crowds was a definite bonus. Our guide Sera was lovely and so knowledgeable about everything regarding the ruins. Swimming in the ocean right by the ruins after the tour was over was
absolutely amazing. Great Tour!
My favorite part of this tour was when we got to the beach - amazing! You felt like you were at the edge of the world when we see the breath taking view. The history was told well - we got to put our imagination to use with the exiting stories being told and the artefacts we observed. Whatever you do tho, don't feed the animals - they will keep coming back.
We loved that it was in Spanish and English. It was a guided tour with great information and water provided. The box lunch was more like snacks, but we weren't hungry the whole time. Tulum has a little city just outside the site that you can buy food and gifts. The bus was air conditioned. Highly recommend this tour. Because it is inland plan on it being hot if you go In the summer.

Great tour and some stunning scenery, well worth doing and don't forget your camera.
Very good tour, a must-do if you like Mayan Ruins. I want to mention the incredible work and knowledge of our tour guide MARCO. He is without a doubt, the best tour guide to have around if you do these kind of tours. His english is perfect and he had so much interesting facts and informations to share with us about the ruins, the mayas, the civilization... i've learned so much during this tour. Once again, Marco, remember this name, if you're lucky enough to have him as your guide, you're gonna have a wonderful experience. 10 on 10

the person doing it frank was so good and had great knowledge and knows his stuff
and the history he knows is good
We left our hotel at 6:50 a.m. and would advise anyone going to Tulum in August to GO EARLY. It is very, very hot even though on the coast and has some ocean breeze. The beach there is small and we could not go down there the day we visited because of high winds. The place itself is beautiful. Words can't describe. Our tour guide was very nice and we enjoyed the information he shared on the history of the place. The coach ride was comfortable. The box lunch wasn't great but in Tulum there are shops and restaurants and you get time to hang out, eat, shop, if you want to. We enjoyed the excursion very much :-. The tour was with Amigo Tours.
Not to be missed. Much closer to Playa del Carmen than some other sites, easy bus ride. This was an early-tour, and it was great to get there before the crowds well worth getting up a little early. Very, very interesting historical and archaeological site. Knowledgeable guide, and yes, he was a trained archaeologists, so was very knowledgeable. Enjoyed his commentary. Was a bit of a walk from the bus to the city, and everyone walked faster than me! Huff and puff. But worth the effort. Absolutely gorgeous views of the Caribbean from the Tulum cliff top. Don't leave your camera behind!! And the ruins ... wow!
Great tour! Frank was wonderful and we really enjoyed the early access. There was less people and temperature was much cooler. Also we were back by 1:30 with the rest of the day to enjoy. The one complaint we had was the driver of the small van picking us up from our resort was 40 minutes late with no phone call. We then met the large tour bus on the side of the freeway.

We LOVED our Tulum visit. Our guide was fantastic and the ruins are almost beyond words. I highly recommend this one! It was a wonderful tour!
This tour was amazing! Our guide, Marco, was excellent - extremely knowlegable and very interesting to listen to. Site is beyond gorgeous! !
Only downside was a bit of a late start, due to other travelers not being ready for pickup-however Carlos still got us there in a timely manor, great driver
van picked us up at hotel and took us to where we transferred to a bus for the trip to Tulum. We were the second group into the ruins and had ample time to sight see before the crowds arrived. By the time we were done at the site there was free time for the provided lunch and for shopping. Guide was great and tour was a great way to see Tulum. Especially enjoyed the early entry time.
Freddie and Ramone were very friendly, they made the early pick up so much easier! Great information about the Tulum sight and loved the Mayan language lessons on the bus ride to the site. Recommend this tour and these staff members for sure.

Nice tour ,learned a lot. Our tour guide was very informative and had a great sense of humor.
I am glad I signed up for this trip.
I'm going to be honest here, having to get up early on vacation is not fun, but it is totally worth it with this tour! Our guide Freddy and driver Leo told us from the start that getting in early will be worth it as you're not dealing with the heat and you will get great pictures since there will be almost no one there yet. They weren't kidding! We had a small group when we went and after we were finished with the tour/free time, you could start to feel the heat and see the amount of people that had shown up.
I highly suggest bringing a bathing suit and a towel and taking a dip in the water to cool off if you stay later, upset I didn't do this myself! Freddy and Leo were awesome with the information they provided and were extremely friendly and personable. If you're going to do Tulum on your visit, do it this way!
This was a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. Freddy was so good and very informative. The transportation....our driver, Julio was very kind and smiley. They did a great job.
Excellent trip, excellent value, timing was perfect and allowed us a view of the site uncluttered by other tourists.
Very informative guide providing a real character to the buildings and ruins we encountered.
This is definitely the way to go to Talum. We arrived early hardly any folks there yet. Freddie did a wonderful job in giving us lots of info about The Mayans and their ways. Would highly recommend this tour if visiting the Playa de Carmen area.
Tulum was a 45 min drive from our hotel in Playacar.
We were early, and had a nice tour.
Early access is the best choice, in the afternoon its too hot to visit this site.
Bring mosquito repellent!
We had a lunch box at the way back.
PS bring some extra water and food.
