A really good tour for a beginner. Pompeji is simply too big to cover everything but for a beginner it was perfect.
Wasted no time here. Well worth it. We got to learn a lot of things from our guide. Would definitely recommend.
Love Pompeii. Francesca is a good guide and made our way in the rainy Pompeii with lot more fun and information. You have to do it with a tour guide, as it will ensure the most experience in a limited time.
great! with the guide tour we saw most important places then we could stay longer if we wanted to. the place is too big to do it on your own only and if you havent read a lot about it before- the guide tour is a must to understand and enjoy it.
The guide was friendly and helpful. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions.
Highly recommend! Was a great tour with a great guide.
Our tour guide Palo was fantastic! He brought Pompeii to life. I highly recommended this tour.
Great tour, Great guide, Manuela was very knowledgable and thorough. You will need to take some type of guided tour to fully appreciate this archeological wonder. This tour was worth every euro.
This was a dream of mine, to see the ruins of Pompeii. Our guide was Serena and she was so informative, I was truly in awe of the place. We did have a problem with the times, we had 1:30pm on our printed voucher, but the tour didn't start until 2:30 and I had no emails to suggest this change. Perhaps an error on Viators account? I'm not sure. We were shuffled from the top of the stairs to the bottom of the stairs quite a few times by the local tour companies, only to find out that our tour was actually part of the Mt Vesuvius bus tour/Pompeii tour. Once the tour bus arrived with the others, we waited while they had lunch at the local diner and were soon separated into small groups of 15. The audio guide is a must! There is so much to see and without their information, we wouldn't of known what buildings were homes, stores or baths. Such a remarkable experience, the city is absolutely incredible. We stayed locally for one night and were warned frequently by the locals and by our driver from Naples airport that pick pocketers were riff in this area, but we had no problems at all. We had our belongings in our front pockets and were always aware of our personal space. We met a beautiful man at one of the stalls in front of the bottom entrance you need to walk about 20 mins to collect your ticket, at the top entrance near the train station. His English was broken but he made such an effort to assist us in finding the train station. Our hotel Hotel Del Sole had a restaurant that overlooked the ruins, and the food was to die for! Highly recommend this tour and the hotel, but Pompeii really is a dirty, rundown place. Maybe stay in Sorrento if you are thinking of staying for a long period of time, we only went for the ruins. :
Great guide! Great tour!
