It was a cold night, drizzling rain. We were in a group of 20 people with a couple of lanterns to light the way. Scene set for a spooky experience.
Guide was informative but spoke to fast and was difficult to understand most of the time.
Only thing to make it better would be seeing a ghost!

It was pretty amazing! We arrived at the historic sight at 8:30am and left at 10:30pm. The tour grants access to other areas not open during the day. The only disappointing thing was the lighting when walking through the sight. The lantern bearers where all huddled together and not spread out which was rather dangerous. A few people started using their mobile phones to light the way so we followed suit. Still a really enjoyable experience though.

The guide tried to make it scary, but I found the tour rather mundane. it was still extremely interesting nonetheless.

This was a great fun tour, the kids were nervous going to bed that night but still really enjoyed themselves. Well worth the money.

My husband and I enjoy the ghost tour. Something different from the day trip tour.

The tour was great with a really friendly, informative guide. Rob I think his name was. We also saw some cool wildlife on the drive there and also at Port Arthur itself. Concentrates solely on the convict past of PA and the way the building are lit is a bit eerie. Great night.

There are far worse things to spend your money on. This was a non scary, different perspective of the Port Arthur site. The highlights were the chief surgeon's basement and the separate prison ( seriously spooky even in daylight ). It was well run and scripted.

Our accommodation was a short walk from the Historic Site so we decided to walk along an unlit path beside the water to the site to get us in the mood. As we had possums and other creatures scooting across our path it put us in the right frame of mind for the Ghost Tour. Scarry!!!! Our tour guide was most informative nad also set the mood as she had a head full of blonde hair and wore a full length dark leather coat. She also spoke in a voice that would not be out of place in a Hitchcock movie which all added to the experience. Once you add a chill in the air the experience was complete. Well worth the effort.
