What You Can Expect

Day Trip to Ile Aux Cerfs Island and Grand River South East Waterfall in Mauritius

parasailing fun

Make your way to the departure location near Deux Freres, where you'll meet your captain and crew. Climb aboard the spacious motorboat and head for the Great River South East Waterfall, the location where the ocean tide and the river current meet. From the boat, snap photos of the impressive falls, surrounded by rocks and verdant greenery. You may even see monkeys and fruit bats, or the the native bird ‘Paille en Queue.'

Snack on some cheese sandwiches and juice as you travel past the area's luxe oceanfront hotels. Stop for some snorkeling, during which you can easily see tropical fish and other marine wildlife through the crystal clear water.

Continue to the idyllic Ile aux Cerfs, where you can go parasailing (included) or participate in some other water activities (own expense). Climb back into the boat for a short trip to the wild side of the island, where you'll go ashore for a 3-course meal. Please see Itinerary section for full details and sample menu.

After lunch, spend some time exploring the beach and tidepools, which are home to sea urchins and sea stars. Go for a swim or just relax and soak up the tropical rays. Board the boat for the trip back to Deux Freres.
