Benagil Caves Tour from Portimao

If you are looking for a quick 2.5 hr tour of all the caves that cannot be seen in a safe boat, then this probably the most economical & fun filled tour. Our tour guide Miguel & the boat captain (forgot his name). They made the tour interesting and fun.

The tour was very well organized. The captain is very professional, the tour is accompanied by very interesting and curious comments about the area, each visited cave and beach in particular. Highly recommended to everyone!

We had 10 people in our boat. the drives made the tour exciting as well as picturesque. He stopped so all could take pictures of any scenery we wanted to. Our guide gave us all the information we needed to make our tour perfect.

He was very knowledgeable, friendly and really enjoyed showing us the area. The Bengali Caves tour was simply amazing! I highly recommend this tour!

Mauro and Luis did a great job guiding us by and through the caves. They gave interesting commentary, answered questions and helped with photos. Definitely a fun experience.

This was one of the best things we did in the Algarve. We took my three teenagers and my parents and everyone loved it. Luis and Mauro were the best.

This is a must do tour!!! I'm talking 5 Star! These guys were hilarious. There was one young guide who spoke English and led the tour with interesting facts and funny jokes to keep it lively. The captain took us into many different caves and pointed out historical and well known sites. The funny part was when the captain would try out a word the guide just said and tried to make it sound as English as possible with his Portuguese accent. It was really cute. He asked us to pronounce "Earthquake" he had a bit of trouble with the "th" sound. I wish I could speak Portuguese as well as he can speak English. Then, the other member of the team who was in training would question words and phrases the guide said and tried his English out. It was adorable, entertaining and the caves are truly majestic. Must see with this team! We felt extremely safe at all times. Though these guys had a great sense of humor, at no time did we feel unsafe out on the open water. They adhere to all safety precautions.

Algarve Discovery did a wonderful job and guide Kevin was a treat! Gorgeous blue water, caves and an enjoyable boat ride. Well worth the money and 2 hours to see this gem from the water!
