Sarah picked us up at our hotel...

Sarah picked us up at our hotel, then drove us to Forest Park. Along the way, she gave us a brief history of Forest Park. We did a five mile hike on easy to moderate trails in Forest Park. Absolutely beautiful! We loved it. We were glad we had Sarah as our guide, as just trying to figure out where the trail heads are, where to park, and which trails to hike would have been frustrating for us non-locals. It is an actual forest with over 80 miles of trails but have no parking lots and no visitors' center. Sarah is a wealth of information regarding the park and the city of Portland and just a delightful person.
