This was a really great day trip, and Sarah really made it worthwhile. The region is beautiful and definately worth checking out. Hoghly recommend.
Best way to see the beautiful scenery, leaving all the driving to a professional. The many waterfalls were beautiful. Mt.Hood and Timberline Lodge are breathtaking. Great scenic photography opportunities on this tour. Suggested by the tourguide, we had the best salmon fish and chips at Full Sail Brewery.
Had an awesome trip back in October. Many of the waterfalls weren't open because of the recent wildfire, but our tour guide made up for it. Would go again.
I had a good time. Enjoyed the tour the guide and fellow travelers.

The tour was very informative and the views were spectacular. The tour bus was comfortable and the tour guide made sure we all got to enjoy everything we wanted!
We were delighted with the tour. At the Falls the parking was scarce but the tour bus has a special parking place, so we didn't miss any of the falls because of parking. The guide was informative and entertaining. We would have missed so much if we had tried the trip on our own.
The Tour was amazing and the Guide was amazing as well and Funny as hell :D. However it was a very bad weather which we couldn't actually see the Mt Hood from anywhere, moreover all roads to Multnomah Falls were closed due the fire that happened earlier the week i took the Trip. People were very nice and friendly. The guide took us to mount hood which was really amazing with all this snow on top of it. Wished it was a clear sunny day but it wasn't. However everything was cool and on time, and we did visited some cool places in Hood River. Spent sometime have our breakfast.
Phil was very punctual, friendly, and upbeat. He tried to keep us engaged and made sure we had good times. The weather was perfect and nine of us enjoyed thoroughly. Phil went extra length to drop me of at the airport on our way back to Portland.
I strongly recommend this tour company for out of city trip from Portland.
It was an awesome way to see the natural beauty of the area. We did not get to see MT. Hood because of cloud cover and snow! Despite that, we enjoyed other beautiful sights. Sarah, our guide was very knowledgable about the geology and background of the area which enhanced our tour.
Our tour guide, Becky, was excited, energetic, loved telling us about the beautiful area. Due to the fires, we were unable to see Multnomah Falls however, she provided an excellent tour with modifications to our itinerary. Another bonus, we were the only 2 on the tour, so it was a private tour -- and Viator didn't cancel. A truly amazing day! Would highly recommend!
Everything turn as planned except we missed to see the Multnomah fall because it was closed due to recent fire. Our tour guide was Karen .
Very, very good. Tom, our guide, was excellent and very well informed. I recommend this trip.
This was the only tour we took that we were on a big white bus - all the other tours were vans. 25 people on this tour. Scott was our guide- very pleasant, and somewhat knowledgeble of the area. Stopped at Vista House, and the different falls along the way- all beautiful, a must see! Went into Hood Valley River - a small coastal town - for lunch on our own. Found a cute diner - great food and very pleasant people. Had time to walk around - you could even do wine tasting ! Headed to Mount Hood and Timberland Hotel. Still had snow on the mountain - had snowboarding classes in the summer ! Beautiful . The hotel was extremely unique- outside was where they filmed The Shining. Beautiful center fireplace, lots of ornate wood and wrought iron. Beautiful views from every room. Then we stopped at a local fruit stand for ice cream / and fruit! That was fun . Overall it was a great trip- highly recommend it.
Very organised day, with great local and geographical information about all thing Mount St Helens provided by guide. Great way to get out of Portland and further afield to see the awesome sights on nature. Hassle free and fills your whole day with a memorable experience.
good experience to visit mount hood.the day we visited we were worried as visibility was restricted due to forest fires but after approaching mount hood all our apprehensions proved wrong and we enjoyed the wonderful sights around the mountain.
Little more feedback would have helped all passengers to enjoy patch of glacier stream.we were fortunate as we explored the area in detail and were able to enjoy the scenery.
This was a fantastic tour. The guide was knowledgable and friendly. She kept the pace up even with traffic issues, and the timing was good at each stop. It was a long day but love-loved-loved every minute of it!!!
Portland tour was beautiful! Our guide shared lots of information about the city and sights. Well worth it!
What a great trip! My Hood was beautiful and the waterfalls are too. Sarah was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history and facts of the trip and personable. I suggest you wear comfortable shoes that are good for walking.
This needs to be at the top of your itinerary when visiting Portland. The waterfalls are terrific. The small size group is more personal. The site seeing at the other stops are incredible. My husband and I LOVED everything about this day and this tour including our guide, Sarah, who was awesome!! Thank you!
Very educational, beautiful views of the Vista house, two falls and Mount Hood. Our guide Steve was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. He grew up in the area and shared many facts that other guides probably would not have known. Recommend that you ask for Steve to be your guide. Have fun
Wonderful tour with knowledgable guide. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the tour.
Carrie, our guide was so cool, she made this an excellent tour. It was so amazing I really loved the waterfalls and all of the beauty that Portland has to offer. We would have never found all of this on our own. We did have a mishap though, due to no fault of Carrie. At the end of the tour going up the stunning Mt. Hood. There was a lot of snow. It was so awesome that some people on our bus had never seen snow before. One women was complaining that it was taking too long, well there was a lot of amazing snow and beauty but people in their vehicles were getting stuck. I wouldn't take this trip if you actually have to be back at a certain time. I am from Wisconsin and know that you can run into anything in the snow. Well all I could think of was to get out and push the cars, as we do that for others in our state, then we needed a bit of a shove. Sadly we never got into Timberline lodge. It was too much of a major risk and I understand that. I am sure the complaining person on the tour would have piped up again even after all of that. It turned out that the rest of us got so attached to each other. It was honestly a wonderful day. Next time I will go back and go again to see Timberline Lodge.. Thank you Carrie, you made it fun, you reacted professionally and it is a trip we all said we will never forget. It was totally the best. One more thing, when they say they are going to have a tour that day , they do. I would never go on other tours but this one. Kudos to Carrie and everyone on the tour. It was great.
Great tour. Plenty to see at a relaxed pace. Good driver/tour leader. Pick up and drop off were fine.
The Mt. Hood tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. The scenery was breataking and we had plenty of time for pictures and had an hr lunch at Hood River. I would recommend this trip to everyone. It was well with the money.
