At first, when I was picked up at my hotel by the guide, Pedro, I was disappointed this was not a private tour, but included two other couples and I could not vary the itinerary a bit. However, Pedro was extremely knowledgeable, very personable and showed us all the important places that were described in the tour description. Much to my surprise, an hosted lunch was included in the tour, and we had a good and delightful lunch with the most wonderful new green white wine from the area. Pedro was marvelous - one of the best tour guides I've ever had and I would greatly enjoy going on another of his tours.

Miguel was an excellent tour guide. He was obviously well-informed and was willing to tailor the tour information to the groups interests. We traveled around Braga, the Bom Jesus Sanctuary, and the historical center of Guimarães. We had a very good lunch with wine. Miguel was personable, knowledgable, and had a good sense of humor. He conveyed information and conversations adeptly in two languages impressive so everyone in the group would be informed and be able to communicate with the other. Thank you for a great tour!

A fantastic tour. Our guide, Sofia, is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. She is the best guide I met during my 10-day trip in Portugal, and the tour is one of the best tours I have ever had. Sofia shared a lot of information about the places we visited and Portuguese culture in general. I learned a great deal on this tour. The lunch was delicious. The only thing to keep in mind is that you probably wouldn't have lunch until 2 pm so a big breakfast would help. I wished we could have more free time in Braga. Also, I would love to explore The Palace of the Dukes of Braganza in Guimarães, a place that looks fascinating but unfortunately was not a part of the tour we walked pass by it. Other than that, the day was great and full of joy. Highly recommended!

Really worth the drive from Porto. Liked the pick up/drop off at hotel too. Both cities are lovely and lots to see about each town. Lunch was at a nice resturant and the food and service were excellent.
