Porto Hop-On Hop-Off Tour with Optional River Cruise and Wine Tasting

Porto Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

Find your double-decker bus at one of many tour stops and begin your Porto hop-on hop-off tour with optional river cruise and wine tasting. During your tour, see both Porto and its neighboring beach towns of Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos. With your ticket valid for 48-hours, you’ll have plenty of time to see all the points of interest you wish to. As you cruise, enjoy 360-degree views and learn about Porto’s most historic attractions from a charming narrator. Enjoy the freedom to hop-off at any stops you’re excited to explore.

While heading along the Porto route, stop in the city center and see one of the city’s oldest and most important Romanesque monuments, the Porto Cathedral. Next, hop off at the Port Wine Museum, located in an 18th century warehouse in Porto. Here, learn about the history of Port wines, its commercialization, and its impact on the economic development of the city.

Shift gears onto the second route and visit Porto’s pristine coastal towns. Tucked in the Parque da Cidad do Porto, see Anémona, a giant modern sculpture resembling a jellyfish. Then experience Matosinhos’ with its bustling seafood market and beautiful beaches.

Upgrade and receive a wine tasting and river cruise!
Take a pleasurable detour from hop-on hop-off (stop 22 on Route 1) and savor Porto’s skyline during a cruise along the historic Douro River. Then, enjoy a tour and tasting at the Calém Port Wine Cellar (stop 23 on Route 1). Delve into the art of winemaking and sip on two delightful local wines.

If you're on your first-ever Porto visit, and you have only limited time in this exquisite city, do this HOHO bus tour. Be sure to get off in Gaia and walk down to the street that runs along the river past the port houses. Drop-dead gorgeous views everywhere. We did the Cadem tour and loved it - I never liked port before because I had no idea how many types there are.

You have to buy via Viator for a specific day but the bus drivers don't seem to care if you use your ticket on a different day, as long as there's space on the bus.

Very nice trip with all important sights of the city. One line is running far from the city centre along the coast. So you can take off from the bus direct on the beach and spent nice time there.

Well worth the price tag. The cruise an Port Wine tasting alone pays for the ticket. But the bus tour is a great way to get around the city and learn about the history of this beautiful City.

This is a great activity. The 2 days hop-on hop off Yellow bus tour with optional river cruise and wine tasting is worth every cent you spend. The first day we did the route that goes to Matosinhos and enjoyed the day around the area. Matosinhos is beautiful. The fish is fresh, but also very expensive, compared to everywhere else we have been eating fish in Porto. Yesterday we did the river cruise, rode the Yellow Bus, Orange Line, to Vila Nova de Gaia, went to Calem for our tour and wine tasting and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is well worth it. Includes wine tasting and a boat ride. Free transit on the bus for two days can't be beat. I ran out of time and didn't get to see one of the two routes. I guess it is a good reason to come back!
